Una Limosna por amor de Dios: "An Alms for the Love of God" is the last piece, written one month before his death, by guitar virtuoso Agustín Barrios Mangoré. This is also the reason why some people call the piece: El Ultimo Trémolo: The Last Tremolo.
The legend says that Barrios was teaching at home as one old lady knocked the door asking for an alms. This was the inspiration for the composer to create this masterpiece. You can hear the hits of the door at the begining of the composition. It developes in a sad and melancholic melody to finish in a major mode giving us a kind of hope after the difficult times.
