- Our annual trip aboard the Mirage on a two day trip fishing both Santa Rosa island and Santa Barbara Island. Day one i screwed up by not recording until 3pm after a firmware update. Day two was filled with monster yellowtail that kicked our butts at Santa Barbara Island. Homeguards!! Hit the like and subscribe! Thanks for watching.

Can I use a 8ft MH 10-25lb line rating and fast action?
+Beast that rod should do, but whats the rod rated for? 10-25lb line is a little light. I would start with 30lb test.

After watching your videos I finally decided I'd give this boat a try! I'm going out on July 21st-22nd on an overnight. I'm planning on bringing a 15lb, 25lb, and 30/40lb setup. Was just wondering if you thought those would be enough for an overnight. Thanks

You asked me this before.. but for this specific trip where its local fishing and yellowtail and no big tuna, 4 to 5 setups

I fish pretty much all Calstar rods. The models I fish are 700L, 700M, 700H for these trips.
