The Astro franchise is one of the only times I've ever seen both the first and second game be equally as amazing. The love and detail that they put into the games is incredible. I'm excited to see what the team come up with next.
I agree on both Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Astro's Playroom being astonishingly amazing, they're not however 1st and 2nd game, rather 3rd and 4th as there are The Playroom for PS4 and The Playroom VR, both of which are not much more than tech demos which aren't that great and thus served mostly as the learning platform for the Asobi team- The playroom VR contains a rescue mission as one of its minigames, as well as a boss fight, and The Playroom showcases the new functions of Dualshock 4, so both of them actually containted many ideas for these later, bigger and much greater games.

@mihapro 40 Half life 1 and 2 were revolutionary FOR THEIR TIME. Sadly Valve will never release Half life 3, so we gotta find another masterpiece which is Astro bot rescue mission (and now Astro's playroom).

I left this game in my collection for about 2 years , when I finally got it out , I sped through it, got everything and I can’t believe I haven’t played it before.
I dont have words of how much i miss this game its just amazing and the music is amazing everything about the game is just AMAZING
If you miss it you can play it on your PlayStation 5, though I don’t know if the PlayStation VR is still in stores cause it doesn’t work for PSVR2
I thought ps vr 2 is backwards compatible for ps vr games like this.

@@d3arb0rns You will need the VR with a ps4 controller connected to the ps5 and just go download the game. If you have the VR when it first came out you'll need to buy an adapter to connect to the ps5.

My brother had just recently gotten a VR and let his five year old son play this game. It was really entertaining to watch him play it trying to figure out how it worked. Had to look up what this game was about and I find it amazing!
Not to be a big whiner but you really shouldnt let kids wear and play with vr. Kids eyes under twelve years are still fully developing. Using the vr can have big consequenses and can result in bad vision and glasses. There are a lot of warnings on the box, in the manuel and at the start of every game!

@@briannawilson8845 late response but VR headsets usually do advise not to let children under the age of 12 use them for the reason the previous guy mentioned.

I got it with play at home and my favorite part is when astro sticks to your visor underwater is soooo cute!!!! you almost feel you can touch it!!! this one and moss are definitely a must have games if you own a PSVR.

I was little I used to not be any of them really good and when I Growed up i’ll be there the whole entire level and that’s so cool 🤩
I used to have a great friend that didn't live too far away and he had this great friend awesome game to play every time I go to his house I was mesmerized as soon as I started level one but now he's moved away and it takes hours to get to his house and... Some stuff opened and I'm not friends with him any more so now I just have to live with the memory of this awesome game knowing I can't get it I've spent way too much money one Xboxes and other consoles to turn around and say I want ps vr so now every time I remember this game it's just endless longing to play it again
