    How'd you mesure for driveshaft did you get a single cab short bed driveshaft?

    How did you end up mounting the passenger side shock?

      I actually went off shock angle from the factory and went from there, I am however moving the right shock so both are behind the axle

    I would assume this can done with a c1500 also? Did you drill new holes to mount the bed?? Lastly sorry riddled with questions, what exactly needed welding?

      Yes same process on a 2wd, I drilled 2 holes at the back of the frame for bed bolts, currently only have 4 of the 6 in.

      Nothing needs welded, you will need to add a cross brace if you remove the spare tire carrier.

    Hey, just wondering going to be starting my 98 shortening in about a month I was wondering, how far did you have to move the differential forward?

      I used the hole under the front bed mount to locate the front spring hanger, I believe it's like 18"

      @deancameron1456 6 ft is the short bed, 8 ft is the long bed

    How many inches exactly did you have to cut off the frame? And the rear leaf spring brackets, are they new stock ones?

      Was like 18 and an 1/8 I think, I used the factory rear spring hangers I just bead blasted and painted them

      The rear one I just moved forward, the front one I notched to fit

    Is the drive shaft the same size as a regular short bed? Or did you get a custom one?

      I used one from a 4wd Tahoe/Yukon but I believe the short bed drive shaft should work.
