Not all Lead Acid Battery can be revived to the original voltage. Most used Lead Acid Battery cannot regain it's full potential due to battery sulphation or a dead cell. But you can definitely revive unused Lead Acid Battery where the plates and absorbing materials just dried up due to age. Use battery solution 30-50% sulfuric acid (H2SO4) in distilled water.

The best way to recover a battery that has sulphated plates is very low current for a long period , you would need an adjustable power supply to achieve this .

The process described is not correct because the sealed UPS batteries have the acid absorbed in the plates and do not produce harmful gases. With the described procedure the battery will not follow the correct operation and will produce harmful gases. This is a highly discouraged procedure.

Dafak armhair..do u really know to use multimeter..end clip u test d batery with bulp. Well even 3v can light such bulb. And shouldnt test battery charger by short circuit, in some charger it will cause damage/xplode of chaarger compenen...

You need to charge it at a higher voltage , try 14.5 volts ...don’t let it do above 14.7 v

Battery acid from another battery but if you use water to clean the inside or add to it then it needs to be distilled water.
