This was painful to watch. Does anyone in the flight want to help her out? Or were they specifically instructed not to? Either way, that is brutal.
For anyone who may not know, her mistake was a very common one at the GMC level -- she forgot to call "Forward March" after the column movement. If one does not do this, the flight will remain in half steps. You must call forward march to get your flight to start taking full steps again. Worse, in half steps, you literally cannot call any other commands like "Halt." You are stuck until you call forward march.
By the way, if the flight bothered so hard to avoid going out of the boundaries of the drill pad (which loses the flight commander points) by ignoring marching rules (they should technically have continued marching out of the drill pad), what is the big deal if one of them were simply to say under their breath "Forward march" to the Flt/CC? They are already throwing her a bone by not going out of bounds, why not throw her that bone too?

Cadets in the flight can't talk or help the flt/cc out during an fde.

@@thecoolchipys My view of it is the worst that happens is you get yelled at for like 5-10 seconds about helping your FLT/CC not look like an incompetent idiot for 5 minutes -- which the cadet here clearly wasn't. She literally only forgot one thing. I would happily take a 5-10 second yelling session to help her out.
Our mission in any scenario is to help get the mission done. In the real Air Force, if your commander is just staring at a problem that you know how to solve for 5-10 minutes, would you not say anything? Hell no! Help your people out and get the mission done.
