Man, UNREAL watching this when its all edited and finished, first off, the BTS is just a small fraction of all the work and effort that went into this, but also cheers to not just the creators, but ALL the support crew, AC's, grips, eletrics, hair and make up, the location management, the TALENT, literally everyone who came through for this one. Can't wait til the next one !
After binging all the bts then seeing the final film, It’s like a mini series we didn’t know we needed. Acting ✅ lighting ✅ sound ✅ color ✅ this was amazing. Awesome work to the entire crew and cast. 🔥🔥🔥
Really? I think you need a history lesson from classicHollywood DOPs. The production missed a ton of close up pick up shot that would have made this Epic. The story has to move along and many close up shots were not filmed that should have been. Respect cinematic movie making and story-telling before you make a statement that this short film did not live up to basic storytelling standards. Either the DP's didn't properly create a shot list or a shooting script wasn't properly thought out. You should be able to see every shot in editing order or hire a storyboard artist to storyboard the full script. The DP's or Director missed about 15 shoots that were needed.
@@contentm3893 fair. But what is also fair is they didn’t have 50-100 million dollars to play with like Hollywood. Money makes a huge difference in film
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema Good point but not in this case. If they planned this out and identified 15 more shots that were needed it would have been better. Hiring the right storyboard artist would have made a big difference because you can plan out the shots needed and see what's missing before you go into edits. If they could afford sponsors to hir that big if crew then someone should have know that pre-production matters.
The camera work, lighting, location, wardrobe and shots look so freakin good! But that being said, if you guys are able to do this again, definitely get a different scriptwriter and/or actor(s). The story was confusing till halfway in, and the acting (and accents) was immediately cheesy and didn't let up. If I didn't watch guys that helped make this, I would have clicked off before the two minute mark. As the audience, we understand that there is a budget on short films, so our expectations are lower, but we at least expect a good story. This felt like a student short film where the student's dad has a production company. You guys shine in your fields of camera and lighting and that showed through beautifully! Now it's time to pick up on the weak points for the film. 💪 Excited to see what comes next!
Maybe it's just that we got very lucky to have so much talent come together on one project with Kondor Blue bringing a lot to the table. You might also just have a good taste in creators you pay attention to 😉
@craterr This is dope! The crew behind No Vacancy and one of the actors from Star Wars: Rivals?!?!? I’m just jealous I wasn’t on set!!! Congrats to everybody!
You just reminded me of the incredible number of people, and the insane amount of work it takes to make a movie. I was lucky enough to be the still photographer for a low budget David Carradine film back in the early 90s - before his resurgent role as Bill in the Kill Bill franchise. Big hats off to the production team and the talent for making this great little short film. The best compliment I can think of is “tight” this is one tight little film! BTW - if you ever get a chance to read “The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece” by Tom Hanks do it. It’s an amazingly accurate look at all the magic, mystery, and plain old hard work that goes on BTS.
Some great hero shots in this. Good job. The audios seems all over the place and the production missed a ton of close up pick up shot that would have made this Epic. The story has to move along and many close up shots were not filmed that should have been. Also, did you guys have two cameras rolling? Seems like every You Tuber that worked on this talked this up like the final edit would have been Epic. Message to the DP's, plan out your shooting script to a T and storyboard it if you can't see every shot in your head. Every shot has to be accounted for.
I’m sure this was fun to work on. The audio mixing could’ve used a lot of help, and some shots lingered a bit too long. Overall though. Congratulations on creating and doing what you love.
Great work guys! Visual treat with the lighting and camera movement. One thing I felt was let down was the sound design...felt like the post was rushed for this? Took me out of the experience of watching this short. But otherwise great work 🙌🏾
Much Respect to the collaboration but I really wish y’all used veteran actors to parallel the veteran content creators as I’m usually a gear “Does” matter guy but IMO a 5D mark ii and veteran TRAINED film will out perform Veteran content creators and Alexa 🤷🏽♂️ … FYI might see like tough feedback and it IS because I want y’all to win and Rival Majors

it's almost as if you've never worked on a production before by this reaction. lol
The crew, cast, and editing team crushed this! Super fun to see it all put together after all the work we put into it

yo this is so good team. WELL DONE to everyone. Take that hollywood!

@@contentm3893 yeah agreed. Certainly more planning would benefit. I think it’s a great learning experience for all in this
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema And what they pulled off was good.
So thankful to be a part of this and being able to watch the entire process. Everyone absolutely crushed it 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Congratulations on this production! That was SO good, everything from crew to cast, you guys absolutely NAILED it!
This is really awesome. It shows what's possible when talented indie filmmakers collaborate. Team work makes the dream work. Well done guys
this was fun! good work y'all!
Man this is crazy! All the work put in to this masterpiece! Absolutely unreal 🔥

They needed a final locked down shooting script and storyboards. They were missing 15 needed shots that were never filmed.
Love seeing all the talented people come together and collaborating as a team! It's just not about one person. Congrats to everyone!
great work! love and blessings!
The fact that I recognize so many names in the credits shows that I spend too much time on UA-cam.
Maybe it's just that we got very lucky to have so much talent come together on one project with Kondor Blue bringing a lot to the table.

This was great! I'm happy for all of you guys and gals
Fantastic work guys
Captures all the dramatic action of a good ole fashion Western. Love the heroine - great rider!
Great work guys!
This looks absolutely amazing! Great work 🔥🔥🔥

Absolutely Amazing, Y'all! 10/10

you guys are doing awesome!!! Can't wait to keep growing in hopes that one day, we do something in Spanish together!
I didn't know they had Teslas in the old west. Learn something everyday.
Great job on the production.
Reminded me of ROCKET JUMP! first you watch the BTS then the Finale.. looks fun
Damn nice! 🥰❤️🥳🤣😊
Nice

Nice! And of course the amazing Armando Ferreira was part of it!
Great work guys! Visual treat with the lighting and camera movement.
One thing I felt was let down was the sound design...felt like the post was rushed for this? Took me out of the experience of watching this short. But otherwise great work 🙌🏾
A week, more or less, for both sound design and original music is what was given. So you are right, not a lot of time at all unfortunately.
🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️
I wish I knew which shorts were the GH7 and which were the Arri.
YEE YEE 🤠
Was this movie recorded in ProRes 422 HQ on a Lumix GH7?
Was this done in 30fps?
is there anyway to share the GH7 setting?
Why do they keep hiring the guy that was gonna get hung? He has been in several of Armando videos. He’s such a bad actor

Armando you're getting crazy now hahahaha I thought I was watching a Western movie 😂
This is fye 🔥🔥
Cam M was only incharge of BTS? LOL and he talks on his channel like he's a filmmaker
It’s true. I’m a fraud. My hair is also a wig.
lol
