@@thesingingbanshee In the movie, yes - in the books it was actually a concession. Dumbledore was disgusted with Snape because he only wanted to save Lily, not James or Harry. It was only after he said as much that Snape finally said “Hide them all, then”

alot of people dont seem to get the fact that his patronus is a doe because he still loves lily i think if albus had said "lily, still, after all this time?" it would of conveyed the love he still held better they seem to forget that love can transform your patronus into the patronus of the person you love

My friends: You STILL cry when Severus finds Lily's body? After all this time?
Me: .....Always...
The moment Snape was fighting professor mcgonagall, he deflected her spells into the death eaters behind him and took their wands before he left
Yesss
and because he didn't want to fight McGonnell at all
@King Cobra true
@@sagetheory in the books it was a 2v1. Snape vs mcgonagall and flitwick
@King Cobra he was very powerful but I don’t think he was equal with two most powerful wizard and dark wizard. Honestly I think he was somewhere below these two with Grindelwald and McGonagall
I CRIED SO HARD WHEN YOU SAID "Severus sacrificed his whole life just to be hated by everyone".THAT IS HIS WHOLE CHARACTER AND ITS AMAZING!
"Albus Severus Potter... you were named after two Headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin, and he was... the _bravest man_ I've ever known!"
Man, the amount of respect that Harry now has for Snape always puts a huge smile on my face.
In some ways I think he now respects Snape more than Dumbledore
I love that, all the way back to Sorceror's Stone, Dumbledore always objects every time Harry says something disrespectful about Snape.
@Amirus Thing is if you have read the books, it doesn't excuse how he behaved (because you get a way more in depth experience of how bad Snape is). There is also the fact that he maybe needed to be mean to Harry in order to not get exposed but he bullied every non Slytherin and especially Neville. His obsession with Lilly also wasn't healthy. He had a crush on her as kids and that was sweet, but as he got into the whole death eater lifestyle she distanced herself from him and he couldn't accept it. He then only came back form being a death eater because of her, not because he regretted anything he had done. He is a great character, but he is no way shape or form good.
@Amirus He was an AH and that is how he was written. In the books he was brave and committed but he was also petty and cruel. He was a very wounded and flawed human being.
And one killed the other...
Also worth mentioning that Harry, Snape and Voldemort are represents of Three Brothers. Voldemort died for power like the 1st brother, Snape died for love like the 2nd brother and Harry greeted Death like an old friend like the 3rd brother.
I'm pretty sure this is a fan theory, but it makes sense. Also, Harry was Master of Death at some point, since he had the cloak, the wand and the stone.
Exactly
@@erikperhs_ It was given by a fan, but confirmed by JK. An imp addition is Dumbledore was Death from the story.
@@kashishmathukiya8091 it was confirmed to be JK Rowling’s favourite theory but not confirmed true if I remember correctly.
Technically Dumbledore too could be one of the brothers, he tried to wear the cursed ring hoping to see his sister reappear.
Severus was the only one of the death eaters that could make patronus spell. Moreover after Lilly death his patronus changed into doe which symbolized his love for Lily. In my opinion he was the greatest character in whole series, an unnamed hero who took the coward's mask despite being the bravest and the most loyal to his love. His 'always' gets me everytime.
A lot of people miss this thinking they have similar patronus's, but no, Snapes is literally Lily's. His happiest moments are of Lily herself, so of course her patronus would be his. Which makes it that much sadder. His love for her is his only driving motivation in life.
You know what's funny about all of this? A strong motherly love stopped Voldemort the first time (when Lily put the spell on Harry) and then it happened again when Draco's mom lied about Harry being dead. Voldemort underestimated the power of love two times and he failed because of it.
Ahahah i see that we search for the same kind of videos ^^
As well as the power of Snape's love for Lily. And Bellatrix also, with Molly so utterly enraged by the attack on her daughter.
Many dont notice, but after Harry sacrificed himself in the forest, he literally gave the rest of the defenders the very same protection his mother gave him. Not a single one died by the hands of Voldemort or a death eater from that moment on. Notice even Voldemort failed to kill his targets, including Neville. Its not a "mothers" love thats needed, just love of others and the willingness to die for them. Harry loved all his fellow students and died so they wouldnt. Though I assume a mothers love would be stronger protection, its not necessary.
@@PhilBagels Weird thing about Bellatrix is that she of all people should have known Molly's history as a monster duelist in her youth considering they are blood cousins.
What’s really fun in the books is when Voldemort dies he’s just there like his body is on the ground. He tried all his life to be something more but in the end he died like everything else died and his body was just there.
In movie he died from Thanos's snap...
@@Сайтамен So what you're saying is that Voldemort was ahead of his time; in the movies anyway. ;) He snapped away far too soon. Always wanting to be the first and best, it figures... haha.
I know, I loved that so much, he wasn't anything special, really. I hated how they changed that from the films.
I always tear up when Snape's Backstory comes in
Maybe the last few movies has some problems, but the editing is not one of them. The editing was top notch at this scene.
Severus is one of the best characters ever written. You willingly make everybody to hate you just to protect the boy (which is not yours) of the love of your life. That's what I call sacrifice...
Add to that nobody could have been more perfect for the role than Alan Rickman. I cant remotely fathom anyone else playing it.
Severus Snape: he hasn't only sent his patronus to help Harry find the sward in the water, his patronus took the form of Harry's Mother's patronus : the doe- which symbolizes his unconditional and still remaining love for Lily Potter
This makes this scene even sadder
the fetus like creature of Voldemort is a metaphor for Voldemorts damaged soul that's left after creating so many horcruxes
he damaged his soul so severely that it looks pretty brittle
one thing that the movie does not show is, that Harry did the same thing what his mother did for him
he sacrificed himself for all the others by welcoming his death, not trying or fighting to stay alive
after this, no spell of Voldemort did really work anymore
like the avada kedavra did not work when he tried to kill Harry 16 years ago
and the movie created a misconception about Neville and Luna
they never fell in love - but they were the ones that bonded the most because they always were like misfits and loved the spirit of Dumbledores Armee
Neville in fact became a teacher and married Hannah Abbott (Hufflepuff) who ran the leaky cauldron one day.
And Luna who always has been interested in beasts married the grandson of Newt Scamander from fantastic beasts films.
If you are really interested in all the details and deep sh... better read the books.
The half blood prince will always be No 1 for me, because it contains so much about Voldemorts life. It's very psychological. Whereas the movie was pretty flat. It also misses who told Voldemort about the prophecy what was the reason why Voldemort wanted to kill Harry in the first place.
I could talk about Harry Potter all day :D
I love hbp as well. I love those darker stories of Voldemort as a child. How he lured amy benson and dennis bishop to that cave, the fact that they were never the same again. It’s so mysterious. Also he killed someone’s rabbit if I remember correctly. The darker side of harry potter can be seen in the books.
HBP will always and forever be my favorite HP book. Plus it goes into soooo much more detail about Harry and Ginny...
I love how you got so attached to the dragon. You've got a lot of empathy!
Who wouldn't feel sorry for that poor abused thing? Lost any empathy for the goblins after that.
That was soo fake and annoying.
@@PaddyPower_IRL that was definitely a real reaction. If it wasn't then she's the best actress I have ever seen.
@@MM-vr8rj the final part was real fair enough but a lot of others were pure high school drama fake.
@@PaddyPower_IRL that's just how girls react to romance especially teenage romance
My favorite moments in the entire movie series are in this movie - the very dissonant violin as Snape says "always", and when Narcissa lies about Harry being dead - because that's the second time Voldemort's plan has been ruined by underestimating the love a mother has for her child.
Do I still cry "After all this time"?
"Always!"
They did not explain at all in the movie how Harry survived, leaving most reactors to believe that the Resurrection Stone did it. However, the Resurrection Stone doesn't truly bring anybody back, it only lets you speak to departed loved ones. In Goblet of Fire, Voldemort used Harry's blood to regenerate. He took in a part of Lily's sacrifice and therefore kept said sacrifice alive as long as Voldemort lived. Harry was anchoring Voldemort to life by being a pseudo-Horcrux, whereas Voldemort was anchoring Harry to life with Lily's sacrifice.
In Rowling's own words: "Having taken Harry's blood into himself, Voldemort is keeping alive Lily's protective power over Harry - except that the power of Lily's sacrifice is a positive force that not only continues to tether Harry to life, but gives Voldemort himself one last chance ... Voldemort has unwittingly put a few drops of goodness back inside himself; if he had repented, he could have been healed more deeply than anyone would have supposed. But of course, he refused to feel remorse." (Feeling genuine remorse would have put his soul back together.) "Also, since Voldemort is using the Elder wand, which actually belongs to Harry, neither the Cruciatus nor the killing curse works properly. "The Avada Kedavra curse, however, is so powerful that it does hurt Harry, and also succeeds in killing the part of him that is not truly him, in other words, the fragment of Voldemort's own soul that is still clinging to his. The curse also disables Harry severely enough that he could have succumbed to death if he had chosen that path."
What Harry also did by sacrificing himself in the forest is that he gave all of his friends the same magical protection his mother gave him. The books show that none of Voldemort's spells were binding.
Isn't it also because when Harry got the Resurrection Stone, he became the 'Master of Death'? He had the Invisibility Cloak for years, became the true master of the Elder Wand at Malfoy Manor, and then got the Resurrection Stone in the forest, that's why Dumbledore made the snitch "open at the close", to potentially give Harry a chance to survive... at least that's how I understood it...
@@majascha3414 that is just another fan theory
These are the exact words from the book-
‘He took your blood believing it would strengthen him. He took into his body a tiny part of the enchantment your mother laid upon you when she died for you. His body keeps her sacrifice alive, and while that enchantment survives, so do you and so does Voldemort’s one last hope for himself.’
@@majascha3414 Thing is, being Master of Death doesn't make you invincible or immune to death as so many people who sought the hallows believed. In actuality, Master of Death means that the master is the person who accepts mortality. Harry became Master of Death because Death never defeated him.
Harry, while in possession of all three Hallows (the Elder wand’s allegiance to him, his father’s cloak and the resurrection stone in the snitch), as well as the timing of Harry being “ready to die”…all points to him accepting his mortality, what he has to do to save everyone else and, like the youngest Peverell brother, he “greeted Death (Dumbledore) like an old friend”.
Harry had a choice to go back or “go on”. He chose to go back, not because he explicitly wanted to stay alive, but because he knew there would be a chance that Voldemort would be defeated for good and all if he went back.
So like dying to save everybody else, Harry “went back”, again to save everybody.
Harry making this choice, not for himself or any selfish reason, but for the good of everybody, indicates that he was willing to die if it meant Voldemort would be defeated.
@Amirus you're right. As he said in the original comment, only Voldemort's soul died at that moment. Harry was just unconscious.
That’s what I was gonna say about love protection
Strangely enough that's the only thing I DID see coming. Every single book took me by surprise in the end, but as I read Dumbledore begging Snape I thought "he is begging him to kill him to keep up the facade" - the only of my theories that came true 😆
I remember desperately hoping for it to be part of a grand plan, but I couldn’t quite believe it. However, one of the most convincing arguments (imo) was the choice of words: the exact same words were used to describe how Harry felt while force-feeding Dumbledore the potion in the cave, as were used to describe the look on Snape’s face right before casting the avada kadavra. Funny thing is, I don’t even know if this was deliberate!
Actually, in the books it's made quite clear that the attempt to wear the ring destroyed his hand, and would eventually kill him. When he got too far along, he wanted Severus to put him out of his misery. That's why he pleaded with Snape, because Severus was reluctant to do it.
I must have hung around with the wrong fans. One woman guessed RAB correctly right after Phoenix came out. Others recalled that one of Snape's first lines regarded putting a stopper into death.
Nobody guessed how the final battle would go.
In the books there is a dialogue between Harry and Voldemort during their final duel. In this dialogue Harry reveals that Voldemort was tricked and that Snape sabotaged him.
It's a very epic moment that shows Harry's respect and acknowledgement for Snape. It's unfortunate that the movie didn't include this part.
"Harry Potter II - you were named after the bravest man I've ever known. Me. I killed Voldemort. I'm awesome."
Hahahaha
Sounds like Harry from cursed child...

I saw men cry at this film. I saw my friends dad, a 52 year old, bearded, muscle bound ex-soldier cry like a little girl while watching this film.
It is one of the greatest and most sad stories in Literatur and film history.
What i thought to be a bit sad is, that Ted, the Son of Remus and Tonks is not mentioned in the Movies. Another boy that lost his parents in the fight against Voldemort just like Harry and who grew up with his Grandmother, another Orphan boy, just like him.
Doesn't Harry and Ginny adopt him in the book or is my memory mistaken
@@QuayNemSorr no they didn't (well in the official story it is not confirmed). There was a fanfiction that said they did, but in the books they were talking about inviting Teddy for dinner (or to stay over I don't remember) and his grandmother (so Tonks mother) Andromeda raised him.
@@QuayNemSorr Harry was his Godfather and took a great deal in his life.
Thank you. It's been thirteen years since I read it.
He dates Fleur and Bill’s daughter later.
In the book, right before Harry throws the Elder Wand away, he uses it to fix his broken wand from earlier. His original wand. That's the only thing that they left out of the film that ever bothered me. What a moment.
Didn’t he return it to Dumbledores grave?
@@gilbertmunch2432 Yes he did. He didn't throw away - however, I belive, that would be better in the books too... literally anyone can find it again, even after Harry's death, when he no longer the master of the wand.
No he didn't return it to Dumbledore's grave Harry took the elder wand up to the headmasters office and placed it in the safe that was behind the portret of Dumbledore...
@@marjabieze7757 Sorry, but you're wrong. It was said in the last couple of pages of the 7th book (before the 19 years later chapter), that Harry will place the Elder Wand back to the grave. What you're talking about is the Sword of Gryffindor. Snape took it from behind of the portrait, when Harry and Hermione was in that forest, and the sword was placed into the lake.
In the book, the wand isn’t thrown
I'm a 43 year old man, but I had tears in my eyes at Severus' memories too!

Alan Rickman was a phenomenal actor just as Severus Snape was a phenomenal character!

Severus is one hell of a good man.
He was also a grade A sadist to his students.
Good men don't bully the students they teach
@@salexo9 That's actually true. Snape was much more mean in the books and his grudge towards Sirius, Remus and Harry is much more evident. I kinda guess that they somewhat made him more likeable in the movies intentionally.

The first and last thing Harry Potter ever said about Severus Snape:
first movie: "Say Percy, who is that teacher talking t to Prof. Quirrell?"
last movie: "The bravest man i´ve ever known."
18:06 he is Fenrir Greyback, a werewolf + death eater. He was the one whose bite made Remus Lupin a Werewolf :D
Greyback was a Snatcher not a Death Eater.
But yeah, he bit Remus when he was a child
scratch not bite
This two names are a good example of one of the cleverest things in the Harry Potter world. The meaning of the names. Fenrir is the wolf of the raknarok that should kill Odin. Remus comes from remulus one of the founder of Rome that was Raised by a wolf (lupus in latin). Happen similar with Minerva Mcgonagall, sirius, bellatrix... the most of the characters have part of their personality in the name
@@larryvm its weird how his name is fenrir though. His family couldn’t have named him more accurately.
@@denizkenger52 Lupin too..literally means wolf...also apparently Dumbledore is an old English word from Bumblebee..JKR named him so coz she imagined him roaming around humming to himself all the time..lol
I love the lessons these movies teach. Harry didn't really do anything spectacular in any of the movies honestly.... except he stood up for what is right, never got too selfish, and never gave up no matter how hard it was. That's why he is the best, and we can be too. Great reaction as always!
I always get tearful when it's Snape's memories, but you made me cry like I did long ago. Thank you for your emotions and vulnerability. It's beautiful.

Thank you
It's not over - Fantastic Beasts takes place in the same universe...and Dumbledore is alive. I think you'll like them!
Welcome to the Severus lovers! Now you know why he has such a gigantic fan base! He risked & sacrifices so much for the son of the woman he loved, even if she was already dead & he could never have her back. That is love & loyalty & bravery. Severus was a cunning & ambitious Slytherin, alright. But he was also brave like a Gryffindor. Intelligent & inventive like a Ravenclaw. And as loyal as any Huffelpuff. Severus Snape is a prime example of the phrase; "Never judge the book by its cover." Outward he showed only one thing & it scared people. But within was endless love. Snape was absolutely not flawless, & he's far worse in the books. But what he represents, the huge tragedy that still gives all he has left with no given reward for his sacrifice is a life lesson to us all. And what Alan did with this character, the version of Severus he gave to the world, was true magic!
Kinda makes you wonder what would have happened had he been put in Gryffindor...
that Snape's memory is sooo sad😭😭, i cry every time for that scene since it changes the conception of that character you had for all the movies.
I love your reactions by the way!
Bless your heart, this is the most beautiful heartfelt reaction I've ever seen.
Since Voldemort rebuilt his body with Harry's blood, he took into his body the protection that Lily left on Harry when she sacrificed himself. Voldemort's body kept that sacrifice alive and so Voldemort became the only human being in the entire world who could not possibly kill Harry. That's why Dumbledore insisted that Voldemort must do it himself. Also, as a side effect, when Harry went to the forest with the intention to let himself be killed in order to protect others in the castle, he did what his mother did (it doesn't matter that he didn't die, the intention counts), from that moment on Voldemort couldn't kill anyone in the castle. Also, after the war Harry campaigned to have Snape's portrait hung in the headmaster's office along with the other former headmasters' portraits. He became an auror. Ron after a brief stint as an auror joined George in running the joke shop. Ginny became a professional Quidditch player and later a Quidditch reporter for the Daily Prophet. Neville married Hannah Abbott the landlady of the Leaky Cauldron. Neville also became a professor of Herbology at Hogwarts. Luna married Rolf Scamander, the grandson of the famous magizoologist Newt Scamander. They have two sons, Lorcan and Lysander. After the war Kingsley Shacklebolt became Minister of Magic until 2019. Umbridge was tried and sentenced to Azkaban for life. Draco married a former schoolmate, Astoria Greengrass, who died a few years ago. Their son's name is Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. Hermione went back to Hogwarts to get her NEWT degree after which she worked in the Ministry. As of 2019 she is the Minister of Magic. Her and Ron's children are Rose and Hugo. The Headmistress of Hogwarts is Minerva McGonagall. Harry reconnected with the Dursleys, he is on "Christmas card terms" with Dudley. Petunia died recently and it turned out that she always kept in secret the blanket in which Harry was left on her doorstep.
Also scorpius and rose fell in love.
The prophecy said one must die at the hand of the other, so I guess harry will never die.
I never cried with any scene of the Harry Potter franchise but I cried with Snape saying, Always Always.
Greyback is a werewolf. It was he who attacked Remus Lupin when he was a child. He also attacked Ron's older brother whilst he was partially transformed, so not being a full werewolf, so Bill's scars will never heal.
Here, Greyback was in the process of attacking Lavender Brown, Ron's ex-girlfriend.

The Snape reveal is one of the greatest pieces of literary subterfuge. No one saw it coming and it was one of the most emotional reveals in book or movie form.
I remember crying my ass in the theaters.
I can't watch the epilogue scene without crying. The final shot of the trio is iconic as they watch their own kids depart... The use of the "Leaving Hogwarts" score pushes it over the edge for me. I'm crying as I type this lol.
When Harry saw who died in the process I was so shook and hurt...
Even though I knew HP has many unexpected deaths, I didn’t think they’d do THAT to us...😭
People often compare this series to LotR. One big difference is that in LotR, the number of people you care about who die can be counted on one hand. In HP, there's over a dozen.
The part where voldemort hugged Draco was improvised. That is why everyone looked so shocked
Snape wants it like it happened. No one should know why he helped Albus.
And every child in that dark time was compulsory
Also there is one cutscene. When voldemort speech everybody about Harry Potter's death, malfoy is running and throw his own wand to Harry. So malfoy is actually good guy.
RIP Alan Rickman. He will always be remembered for the unforgettable roles he played. Of course, such as in "Die Hard" but also, for example, in "Sense and Sensibility". One of the great examples of British acting school. And his role as Severus Snape is such a gem.

Hey, wanted to let you know that I had a great time watching all your Harry Potter reactions. Don't know what you're currently going through, but really hope that you can continue on with this channel in the future hopefully with some production value upgrades! 🥰
I think the patronus that Snape casted in his memories is the most powerful charm in all the saga, I think that nobody resisted to cry watching that
I think aesthetically, Voldemort’s death was cool to look at. However I strongly dislike it because in the book, his death was described very differently for an important reason. Voldemort always strived to become immortal, to be superior to everyone else, and in the book his death is described as him simply crumpling to the ground, defeated like any other man. I like this much more because it just shows how vain and arrogant he was, and how wrong he turned out to be
Snape's story with Lily hits like a truck every time.
Why Harry didn't die?
It's a little hard to understand if you haven't read the books but I'll try to explain as simply as possible.
Answear:
Thanks to his mother's protection!
When she died, she offered Harry the ultimate protection against Voldemort.
It works as long as Harry is under the tutelage of his mother or someone who has her blood(that's why he stayed with his aunt). When he turned 17 and he became an adult the protection automatically disappeared, but when Voldemort returned to power he used Harry's blood(which is also his mother's blood) extending protection and
making Voldemort himself protect Harry forever.
That's why Dumbledore told Snape that Harry must be killed by Voldemort himself.
It was the only way Voldemort's soul would die without Harry dying.
The protection that ended at the age of 17 was Dumbledore's, He protected the Dursley's house 'til Harry turned 17, Lily's protection, the love of a mother never ends.
9:52 They no longer get a say in how their children are educated.
As he was dying, Snape wanted to see Harry's eyes, which, as mentioned a few times in the books and movies, belonged to his mother. Snape wanted the last thing he'd ever see to be what was left of the one thing he ever truly cared for.
Also, Neville becomes a professor at Hogwarts. Herbology
Though in the books and movies, his last line was changed unfortunately
Thank you for the most genuine reaction to the Snape's memories I've ever saw! :)
I cried like a bitch when Snape died. I loved him since I was 6, since the first book, and never stopped believing in him even after he killed Dumbledore
I think it was that dying part of Voldemort's soul that made it possible for Harry to return. In a way, it took the brunt of the killing curse and protected Harry. I don't remember it ever really being explained in the books, but that is what made sense to me.
Because Harry didnt do anything against Voldemorts curse, his broken soulpiece saved Harrys soul, he vent to the "station" because part of his soul died (the part that attached to his after Voldemort tried to kill him) but he could come back, because his own soul wasnt hurt. It happend because Voldemort used harrys blood to return and the elder wand was Harrys. I belive this is the explanation in the books.
Also, Lilly's protective magic. That threw a big tarp over all the other magics involved. Even the death eaters spells stopped being effective over everyone fighting for Hogwarts. 💓
Duaffy, did you know that Warwick Davis who played the goblin Griphook was also the little Ewok Wicket in Return of the Jedi? You should react to him in Willow, I also see that they have announced a Willow TV series.
Harry was able to return from death because Voldemort was reborn with Harry's blood.
Dumbledore said to Harry : Remember what voldemort did to you with ignorance, greed and cruelty.
And Harry said : He took my blood.
Dumbledore : He took your blood and built his own living body with it. Your blood is in his veins, Lily's protection is in both of you. He connected you to life while he was living himself.
So as you can see, Lily's protection was gone when Harry is 17 but there was a part of protection. This part was in Voldemort's inside because he took Harry's blood. So Lily's protection never end while Voldemort is alive. And also Harry and Ginny have three kids. James Sirius Potter, Albus Severus Potter and Lily Luna Potter.
And about Snape's patronus, his patronus was an eagle but if you have a trauma about someone, your patronus turns to the his/her patronus. For example Tonks's patronus was a rabbit but it turned a wolf because of Lupin. And also you can see James and Lily are soulmate. James's patronus is a stag and Lily's a doe :)
ps. I love it when you guess something right or say the next line. I can see your skill in this has levelled up considerably since you started your channel. 👏👏👏
Her the answers to some of your questions:
1. the parents had no choice about sending their kids to Hogwarts or not, because Voldemort made it compulsory for every young witch and wizard.
2.The guy that attacked Lavender is named Fenrir Greyback and he’s a werewolf.
3.The Elder Wand belonged to Harry: Draco disarmed Dumbledore before Snape killed him, so he was his master. Harry disarmed Draco when they were at the Malfoy‘s .
4. Harry was saved by a mother’s love again. Narcissa lied because she knew ache could only go into the castle and searching for her son if Voldemort won.
5. The names of Harry’s and Ginny‘s children are James Sirius, Albus Severus and Lily Luna. Hermione and Ron named their children Rose and Hugo.
I really enjoyed your reaction!
( sorry for my bad English, I‘m german )
Im from Brazil and Im love your reacts. Really huge fun fact: Harry for a moment was the true Master of Death, because he had all three deathly hallows at some point, which is why he didn't die and only the horcrux inside him did. Dumbledore was so brilliant that he plannin everything, which is why he tells Snape that Voldemort must be the one to kill Harry. Only this way, Harry could survive. In the book we found out that the Potter family is a descendant of the Third Brother. That's why Harry's father had the invisibility cloak and that's why the Potter family was so rich (remember how much gold Harry had in his vault in gringotts). We also found out that Voldemort's family (on his mother's side) is a descendant of the Second Brother who had the stone of resurrection (and yes, that makes Harry and Voldie distant cousins). The stone was located on Voldemort's mother's ring. Voldemort never cared about the stone, because he never loved anyone to want to resurrect, but he turned his mother's ring into a horcrux. If you review the sixth film, you can see that the stone is in the ring, before Dumbledore destroyed it. But by destroying the ring, the horcrux cursed Dumbledore's hand (which, as Snape said, would kill him in less than a year). Knowing that he was going to die anyway, Dumbledore left everything planned so that Harry would have the other two relics before confronting Voldemort (he also who gives Harry his father's cape during Harry's first year at Howarts) Dumbledore is a fucking genious and made harry become the master of dead to escapes from voldemort's death curse again. But harry becames mortal again when he gives up the Elder Wand. In the book we discovery all that when harry speaks to Dumbledore in the Limbo. But they problably cut this from the movie, cause the final battle would'int be so climatic and intense if we already knew that harry wasn't in actually danger fighting Voldemort in this circunstances.
In the movies Dumbledore never explained to Harry what happened to his hand. The Resurrection Stone was in Tom Riddle's Mother's ring and Voldemort used it as one of his horcruxes. When Dumbledore found the ring before he released the horcrux from it he first put it on and there was a curse on it which is what happened to Dumbledore's hand. It was a creeping curse that would eventually have killed Dumbledore anyway so when he told Snape to kill him not only was he saving Draco's soul but he was also choosing his own manner of death.
Well, you could say Snape has been the Anakin of Harry Potter... ;)
Sort of but he ain’t the father but yeah I get what you mean
Harry's sons are James Sirius potter and Albus severus potter. Daughter is lily Luna potter.
Albus potter does in fact become a slytherin
@Lordshrek5000 I wish Regulus got some recognition as well..
@@potatoface1041 Harry never even met Regulus though. How about Cedric Dobby Potter for another child's name?
Also Albus becomes a Slytherin only if you consider the-play-that-shall-not-be-named to be canon, which it obviously isn't, as it directly contradicts a whole lot of what was in the books.
Here's the entire deal with Albus, Abeforth, and Grindlewald. After he left Hogwarts, the Dumbledore brother's mother was accidentally killed by Ariana, who was traumatized and permanently damaged after some muggle boys attacked her as a six-year-old. Albus, being the eldest, had to stay at home and care for the family. Then he met Grindlewald, who, as Shakespeare might put it 'Poured poison in his ear' with ideas of conquering the muggles for their own good. Abeforth snapped him out of it, but this led to a fight in which one of them accidentally killed Ariana.
•Yes, Hermione wants to free the dragon.
•The snake's name is Nagini and she is one of the horcruxes. She was once a witch, but was cursed and eventually took the permanent form of that snake.
•Historically, victims of witchcraft have been known to go into screaming fits like that. Such fits helped start the Salem Witch Trials.
•Yeah, Voldemort has a large army, some loyal, many more under the Imperius Curse for real.
•Those are giants.
•Draco was referring to his old wand, which Olivander said now belonged to Harry.
•Fenrir Greyback is a werewolf and he was killing her or infecting her with lycanthropy, which is the same condition that turns Lupin into a werewolf.
•People have been waiting for you to watch this film to learn the truth about Snape. Snape was the most loyal and bravest man; someone who was willing to allow his name to be blackened so as to infiltrate the Death Eaters. Snape agreed with pureblood supremacy, but his love for Lily led him toward the Light.Throughout Harry's time at Hogwarts, Snape protected him. While Harry, Ron, and Hermione were hunting horcruxes, Snape was protecting the students of Hogwarts from the office of Headmaster, but was also able to help Harry find the Sword of Gryffindor. RIP Alan Rickman.
•Thus Harry has been a horcrux the whole time and he must be killed by Voldemort to destroy the horcrux. And this is part of why Harry Potter is a good example of the Christian Myth; for Harry must die, but will be resurrected to save the world from evil. He has always lived by truth and called evil by its name.
•That's the resurrection stone, which allows ones loved ones to come back from the grave, but not to live again.
•To create a horcrux, one must tear apart their soul. By creating seven, Voldemort fractured his soul to the point of instability. By killing Harry and destroying the second-to-last horcrux, Voldemort sent a fragment of his soul to limbo. It was too damaged for Hell.
•Never mess with the cubs; the momma bear will come after you. Molly Weasley lost one child, so she was willing to kill to protect her other children.
•In the book, Harry used the Elder Wand to repair his old wand and planned to return the Elder Wand to Dumbledore's tomb, thus when Harry actually passed away, the wand would no longer have a master. But Harry, though controlling at different times the Cloak of Invisibility, the Elder Wand, and the Resurrection Stone, can be called the Master of Death.
•The ending is ruined by The Cursed Child, which I do not recommend.
•I have a idea about how the Battle of Hogwarts could have gone differently. In the UK, MI5 is Britain's domestic intelligence; what if MI5 had an entire division dedicated to the Wizarding World? What if regiments of Muggles, armed with rifles and drones appeared? They would have greatly aided the Order of the Phoenix.
I don’t know if the muggles would be able to do loads. I know they won before but in fantastic beasts, Grindelwald said “who’s this rule protecting. Us or them?”
20:15 I had the exact same face at his *_Expecto Patronum_* 😭 😭
R.I.P _The Half Blood Prince_
So I'm literally on a streak watching every Deathly Hallows part 2 reaction on UA-cam so that I can see people react to Snape's memories
its probably been answered, but Harry was the Master of Death (he owned the stone, cloak and wand) He got to choose who's soul got killed by the killing curse. The resurrection stone only allowed Harry to see his parents once more.
i loooooovvve all ur reaction just subbed but been watching ur content for a long while you are such a ray of sunshine in my days :)
I don't think you can ever look ugly even if you tried because your beautiful soul will outshine any ugliness that may surround you! thank you for your uploads! You may be wondering if I will keep thanking you on each video I comment on, and to that I say... Always :)
I have spoken
More like "I have written" but you get the idea
I wish we could hug :D I also cannot thank you enough for the support 💗 Have a nice day!
Duaffy, in case you’re wondering why and how Harry didn’t die by Voldemort’s Killing Curse. It wasn’t the Deathly Hallows or a Horcrux inside that saved him, it was the Love Protection from Lilly. The protection didn’t go away when he turned and no longer lived with Dursleys. It was supposed to but didn’t. This is because Voldemort used Harry’s blood to come back in the Goblet of Fire. This was explained by Dumbledore; “His body keeps her Sacrifice alive and while that enchantment survives, so do you.” So because Voldemort put Harry’s blood in his new body the protection lived on inside him. Continuing Lilly’s protection on Harry, which is why he didn’t die. Love is the only thing that Voldemort can’t comprehend, feel or even understand, he arrogantly underestimate its power. Also when Harry sacrificed himself he put the same love protection on all of his friends and allies so that Voldemort and his Death Eaters can’t harm or kill then until the battle is over. Love conquers everything, even Death.
To cast a patronus you have to picture the happiest memory of your life. Snape's life has been nothing but death and loss and failure, but he still found it in that moment to think of Lily the one he loved. Even as he realized he had to kill her own son
Fun Fact: Neville is the chosen one. He was born on the same day like Harry, he found the Profecy in Part 5 (and it could only be found by the person its telling about) and he killed the last Horcrux , so he kind of killed Voldemort
But Harry is the picked as the True Chosen One when Voldemort went after him instead of Neville. Also Neville was born July 30th and Harry was born on July 31st so it’s not the same day.
"the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal" Voldemort marked Harry, therefore he became the choosen one.
@@calvinkopp1735 "born as the seventh month dies" you are right but I think 30th and 31th both are at the and of the month, so both of them could be the Chosen One.
@@prohiadam9 I know I know :) It's just funny to imagine this
In all the movies until the last one, Severus saw James in Harry ... but in the last movie he finally acknowledges to Harry that he see's Lily in him too, when he said to Harry that he has his mother's eyes.
Girl, I knew you were gonna have a big cry when it came to finding out that Snape was Harry's greatest protector and Dumbledore's greatest ally. I'm glad you enjoyed the 'Harry Potter' film saga. :)
It goes into more detail in the books about it, but generally when people love each other their patrons animals will change to the patrons animal of the one they love. For example, Tonks’s patrons changes to a werewolf due to her love of Remus, and Lily’s changed to a doe because she loved James, who’s patrons was a Stagg. The reason Snape’s is a doe is because of his love for Lily. Shape hated that Harry always acted like his father and therefore hated Harry to some degree, but there are actually quite a few times where he protects Harry, especially in Prisoner of Azkaban and Sorcerer’s Stone because of his love for Lily
One thing to snape, if you remember what he asked Harry in the first film (What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?), in the Victorian flower language asphodel is a type of lilly (!) and it means "my regrets follow you to the grave", wormwood means absence, or bitter sorrow. So if we sum it up, he basically said: "I bitterly regret Lilly's death."
And damn, that what you said after Snape's memories (He sacrificed his whole life to protect Harry and die hated by everyone) this is exactly what I thought about when I see it, and as a man (young man) i crave that I would love someone just dearly as he did.
Next, in the book Snape's words when he finds out that Harry has to die describe his life and fate even more and when I read them (along with Dumbledore's farewell theme) damn it hit me:
I have spied for you and lied for you, put myself in mortal danger for you. Everything was supposed to be to keep Lily Potter’s son safe. Now you tell me you have been raising him like a pig for slaughter.
Last thing: where are you from? Because u have nice slavic rrrrrrr (i am a new viewer so idk)
He also asked what’s the difference between wolfsbane and monkshood. The answer was no difference.
The secret message. In the victorian language of flowers, monkshood is related to chivalry. Wolfsbane is associated with a dislike of others and means misanthropy. Here, snape may be comparing himself as wolfsbane and lily as monkshood. He’s basically comparing her heroic actions to his distrustful actions that then lead the him bitterly regretting her death. He’s then saying because there is no difference between the two names physically, he died when she did as well. She died physically, he died emotionally.
Thank you for the wonderful reactions to this series!
Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but Neville wasn't at the train station because he is a Professor at Hogwarts, teaching herbology, his favourite subject. He was married, though it was to someone different in the books. There is so very much more that was omitted from the books, so if you want to find out everything, they're the best place.
Thank you so much for sharing your Magical journey with all of us.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I came for snape’s memories
And you did too
I loved watching your HP journey. It was very entertaining. Can’t wait for other series. Definitely read these books. There is so much cut from these movies. I still love them. But the amount of backstory missing is astounding. They did a fabulous job with what they had.
The end of a journey :( it's been great to see what you think about the world and the story. I was so sad when I finished the books, specially when I finished the films.
In the book, right before he breaks the Elder Wand, he pulls out the pieces of his old wand and repairs it, good as new.
Draco's wand is unicorn hair which is said to be the most loyal of wands. Strange how it switched to Harry after being merely wrestled from Draco's hand.
You're the best!! Lots of love, and thank you!
If you think about it Albus Dumbledore was actually (maybe the only one) the master of death-he had all 3 deadly hallows at the same time for few years.
