We are in Utila, Honduras and exploring things to do in Utila for 2022 and ways to volunteer while on the island. Jasper’s Utila Animal Shelter is an animal shelter and rescue organization in Utila, Honduras, Central America. Jasper’s animal rescue specializes in dog and cat rescues as well as viable adoption opportunities for vacationers and visitors to Utila. If you are visiting Utila and looking for a way to give back while on the island, Jasper’s takes volunteers to walk dogs, tend to animals, and even help with surgery for those medically trained. Jasper’s is even willing to provide free room and board for volunteers willing to help for one month or longer. This option is not your typical Utila travel guide stop but it’s an amazing way to help out and give back to the island.

Awww y’all are so sweet. My husband and I were on the island of Utila about 7 years ago. It was so beautiful. We stayed at the mango inn. The pizza there was incredible too. 🥰

We didn’t visit Jasper’s while we were there, but we heard of it. It would be awesome to go there and volunteer. One of our daughters is a vet tech in Seattle. This would be an amazing experience for her.
