I do this with my old Electrohome AC, Apparently the switch is rated for 15 amps and 1500 watts, Hasn't burnt out yet, Great cause I can come home to a nice cool room
Yes they seem to handle a lot! I’ve got my electrohome plugged into a wireless thermostat rated for the same! It gets a little warm to the touch but it usually cycles off before it’s concerning
AlexTheFanGuy sure is! I find them on sale a lot of the time. I found a two pack on sale for $20 at Canadian tire a while back they connect with my google home but I think they will connect to other smart devices like Alexa and others as well
