Anyone in their 20s can freely enjoy this music in 2024 so how is this not better? I think your bitterness is mainly due to nostalgia, this music being linked to your youth.

The MFS label was so good it's almost impossible to describe. Mystic Force were excellent - and part of an amazing roster of artists. Glorious, emotional, soulful electronic music.
The good news is, it's easier and cheaper than it ever was to get into music production. While fresh "retro style trance" probably wouldn't make the radios, i'm sure there is an audience for it. Even if you're like me and never show your tracks to anyone, it's a great hobby.

Definitively the one of the best way to produce a track with high energy, without having a high bmp rate, is introducing four notes between beats, and this is a good example of that.
