Tip from retired electrician uncle. Always use a new wire nut. I argued with him and asked “why?” His answer was classic. “You never want to get a call back to a job for a .19 cent wire nut” I now always replace wire nuts after I take them off in any job unless I came without new ones.
This is a big help. On my route I always used to tie a string on the old light and pull it thru. Then attach the new light to the string and pull back thru. Both work. But this is much more efficient 🤙🏼
Might be a dumb question, but if you have enough slack at the junction box, couldn't you just swap the light itself and not have to pull all of the cable the whole way? Or is this done to ensure the electrical taped area comes out and you only have the uncut cord in the conduit?
@@ChlorineKingPoolService I have to replace an intellibrite tomorrow with a 100 foot cord to the transformer any recommendations or prayers would be appreciated

I’m glad this video was able to help. Thanks so much for watching!
What kind of transformer do you need to power the LED lights? Do the LED light wires go straight into the AC power outlet?

You can splice anything with the light with the wiring/splice being under water. I hope that makes sense.
These lights are hard to source. Any recommendations?
What kind of warranty do these lights come with?
What about a jandy laminar... the led isnt working.

I might have a few left. I’m sure I could sell you one at my cost plus shipping.
It’s much darker blue like our shirts when new. That one has been heavily used.
