Bro had two Mania matches. Both were main events. Even if they were bad in-ring wise, you could see how much fans loved Sid's presence in the ring. Twice the entertainer we could ever be. Rest in Peace Sid.
RIP Big Sid. The fact he was able to stay in character during the whole shockmaster incident , is a testament to his professionalism! I would not have been abe to keep a straight face for sure!
What I liked about Sid was that he seemed REAL in a world of cartoony & outlandish gimmicks. Just huge and imposing with his plain black gear and intimidating music
RIP Sid. This is hitting me more than I would have thought. One of the big characters when I first started regularly watching WWE in the early 90s, and he main evented the first Wrestlemania I saw against Hogan. Say what you want, he's an unforgettable character in the wrestling industry. Didn't think I'd be looking up Sid matches tonight but I will be now.
Man, what terrible news, Sid was awesome, what a physique and for a guy his size! He could brawl but he could also wrestle , and cut a decent promo, too. One of the best big men, ever.
Couple of records and achievements Sid has that will never be broken... First man to win the WWE Championship on Monday Night Raw (17th of February 1997) Only wrestler in history to appear at multiple WrestleManias, and main event every one of them. (VIII and 13) All hail the Master and Ruler of the World!
Sid's intensity was unmatched back in the day, and still in certain circumstances... Dude was such a monster, and will be GREATLY missed... R.I.P Brother, and thanks for the memories
WWF Came to Brantford, Ontario many MANY years ago.. After the card the wrestlers would often go to different bars. My GF at the time and I went to a local karaoke bar, and there was Sid on stage singing take this job and shove it. I worked up the nerve to approach him at the bar and congratulate him on his win, he smiled and shook my hand in thanks. Massive individual!
It’s a shame that wrestling fans can’t think for themselves, they just hear certain UA-camrs say that he was bad at wrestling and parrot that opinion. He was great in his role and deserves to be remembered better
Sid was one of the best-villains in wrestling business. He makes things so real but is fun watching him. I don’t understand why is not in HOF. God bless you Sid.
Every now and again, I'd watch Sycho Sid make his entrance at Madison Square Garden at the '96 Survivor Series. He was so beloved by everyone in that building, I only watched highlights of the match but I could only imagine the pop he got when he finally won the WWF title
I was lucky enough to see Sid around 2015 / 2016 in Ottawa under the Great North Wrestling promotion. I was ring side and he came up to me and shook my hand. He powerbombed about a half dozen people in his match including a few refs lol. What a night. RIP Sid you’re a legend.
Man, these last 2 months have been terrible for losing wrestling legends. Sika, Kevin Sullivan, Afa, and now Sid. They are all legends, and they will be greatly missed. RIP.
@@martinputt6421 No, he wasn't. He wasn't anywhere near being a "good worker". Good workers don't botch the most basic moves in every single match they have. Good workers don't CONSTANTLY powerbomb people on their heads/necks/shoulders or pelvises/hips/tailbones, instead of flat on their backs. You want to study a big guy from the same era who _was_ a good - and sometimes even excellent - worker, before his addictions ruined him? Watch Scott Hall matches! I'm bummed too, that another "Monday Night Warrior" is gone, but let's not make up preposterous nonsense. He looked great and was a charismatic character you couldn't ignore, even if you wanted to. His promos were so weird and so-bad-it's-good, you didn't know whether to laugh or seriously be worried that he was legitimately insane. But a "good worker" in the ring, he was not!
RIP, he was definitely something to look at in the ring, such an impressive build, and he was scarily in that shape for years after leaving the company in the 90s
He was a menace. Sid was the baddest man. Sid vs Taker at WM 13 is a classic. Having 2 runs in both WCW and WWF, shows he could go in and shake up a roster. He was 110% believable
Ngl I only ever saw 2 Sid matches- his title win at Survivor Series ‘96 and his squash of Heath Slater in 2012 but I reckon I would have been a fan. RIP Sid.
Something that always impressed me about Sid is that he was the only man who managed to stay in character throughout the entire Shockmaster debut. It's the most famous mishap in the history of the business, but you look into Sid's eyes and you'd swear he was staring down the devil himself. That takes serious talent and conviction. It encapsulates just what intense charisma he had and that's a major part of what made him such an undeniable icon. No matter the situation, Sid could always bring the energy wrestling needs to make your blood run cold. Rest in peace.
i remember going to a house show in San Diego as a young boy an seen him in real life was really scary, he was the embodiment of the skyscrapers he was one of the greatest wrestler that help a lot of wrestler be at the top of their career RIP
Although we didn't get to the WWE Hall of Fame. But, Sid Eudy (also known as Sid Justice or Sid Vicious) will surely be missed. Rest in Eternal Paradise
Sid had such an intensity to him that was like no other. Like you and many others have said, he terrified me as a kid but he had that aura to him! Such an amazing wrestler and guy who will be missed.
What a shock, 1 of my fav wrestlers guy was an absolute monster he looked like he was made in a Lab Didn't know he had cancer RIP to him and condolences to his family
Rest in peace in Big Sid Vicious and i know you at the big wrestling in the sky See you in Heaven on day sir Praying for peace and comfort for your family sir God Bless you and your family God Bless you Jeremy Scruggs
The Psycho Sid theme alone scared me as a child let alone Sid himself 😂😂 for those who've not seen them UA-cam Sid's short but monster run in ECW as they are ones not to miss
RIP Sid one of the best big men ever . My mother passed away from cancer almost 2 weeks ago. it's heartbreaking I'm still mourning her loss. RIP Sid ruler of the world
Rest in Peace Sycho Sid/ Vicious/Justice. You were one of the best big man in pro wrestling history. Your match against Shawn Michaels is one of my personal favorites, and you'll be forever missed.
"Hailing from wherever he damn well pleases...". Got to meet him once. Genuinely nice guy backstage.
It's a crime that he wasn't in the Hall of Fame
He refused it.
@@Clyde-S-Wilcox Good for him.
@@Clyde-S-Wilcoxnot true
Fuckin shitty news... 63 is far too young
Yes agreed
That pop he got at Survivor Series 1996 was insane. RIP brother
Just rewatched it! He had an aura to him.
Hell Yeah
NYC/MSG loved Sid. Plus Shawn Michaels got over like a fart in church in 96
Who's the man
One of the most intimidating wrestlers in the ring but, in person, one of the nicest guys you'ld ever meet.
Sid was just intense, believable and massively underrated. RIP Sid
Deserved far more World Title runs than he got.
@@martinputt6421The runs he had with the titles was incredible.
@@martinputt6421i think he couldn't win more title because he didn't show up on raw few eps for some reason
very sad day. he should've been in the Hall of Fame a long time ago. Heath Slater was his final opponent in wwe
I’m glad he got that one last match in WWE.
Bro had two Mania matches. Both were main events. Even if they were bad in-ring wise, you could see how much fans loved Sid's presence in the ring. Twice the entertainer we could ever be.

AGREED! He was the only wrestler who legit scared me as a kid. He just seemed like a real threat when he walked out.
I really liked his WWF ‘95-97 entrance music. RIP
All props to Sid - he got the business, always at a top spot, and as said here he just looked the part. Thanks for the memories, Sid

I'll always love that Survivor Series 1996 entrance in MSG. "Who's the Man?"

He was a fabulous wrestler. We are the exact same age. R.I.P. Sid Eudy. One of the best big men to grace the squared circle.
Absolutely one of the best videos, if not the best, on Sids life. Well done gents. Subscribed.

May the family find peace during this time. What a wonderful tribute you put together rather quickly.
"dial up to 11 and then rip the knob off"! That may be the single best description of in his prime Sid Vicious.
Such sad news, what a legend 😢 RIP
RIP Sid 😞 His Heel run 1992 was pure gold, he was a real monster heel. I still love his squash Matches against Mountie and Hercules.
I'm so happy I was at SIN 2001. Sid is the man. A crazy moment that will live forever.
His Sycho Sid entrance theme is still one of my all time favorites. RIP Big Man
