I wouldn't be too surprised if the Dog Pound or Leather head figs might've been the real inspiration for the Mr. Incredible fig in the Lego Incredibles video game. It's such a shame they never tried making figures like these again.
I really wish they would release the 80s/90s TMNT in LEGO. I really need a Bebop and Rocksteady! And also Casey Jones and April O'Neil would be awesome.

My biggest gripe with this theme was that they never made a Bebop or Rocksteady.
The Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Theme based on the 2012 Series was great. It's sad that it ended so quick when the 2012 series is still running before the show ended in 2017. I wish Lego would take the license back from MegaBlocks and make Lego TMNT Sets based on the 1984 Mirage Comics, 1987 Series, 2012 Series, New Movie Reboot and Netflix Series. There should also be a CMF Series for Lego TMNT. I love the Lego TMNT 2012 Minifigures and the 2012 Series and I want Lego to make more sets based on the 2012 Series in a Update Version of the Turtles and other characters

I love the villains in this theme. Really good ones the krang and foot soldier are so cheap nowadays.
The movie turtles are a little jarring to me and the foot soldiers being actually soldiers rather then ninja.
Sad to know that TMNT never got Rocksteady en Bip Bop (am I wrong)

"fat dude in tanktop" is Spider-bytez pre-mutation (voiced by Lewis Black -hilarious-). "Dark Ninja" is Chris Bradford (sort of a chuck norris like character) and is pre-mutated Dog Pound. I loved the 2012 TMNT so much. probably a lot of information you didn't need.

I was legit just looking through my Legos and I found one of the arm for the pink fish guy and now I found red turtle dude Btw they were both from the same set
It’s so jarring seeing the low prices on these mini figures from 2020, 2 to 3 years later you’d be lucky to find one turtle for under 30 bucks

Lego went all out I’ll never get over mega getting the rights for this series. And I like mega lol.
The Comic Con figures were only available at the New York Con in 2012. 300 of each. However, the Shadow Leonardo was available the following year in a special giveaway in the UK. The skateboard that came with the figure didn't have the Comic Con sticker on it. 400 were given out.....

1. The dark ninja is a ninjitsu master who worked for the shredder that got mutated into Dogpound and was then mutated again into Rahzar.
2. Leatherhead isn't a villain. He's an ally of the turtles who has anger issues and loses his temper easily, but inside, has a good heart.

Wish they’d have kept a deal with Nickelodeon, 10 years late and I regret not pestering my parent for these sets when I had the chance, admittedly 8 year old me was very much so Star Wars focused (also such a shame shredder has tripled in value over the last couple of years for no apparent reason other than lack of supply)
