Where can I find a copy of the terms and conditions an owner or operator needs to agree to to connect their game to the Insider Connect system? I am very keen to know what sort of information is shared with Stern and their privacy agreement surrounding the collection of data from the game and its potential this use beyond the Insider Connect system its self.
If you are an operator and your game is on location, do NOT sign up this way. There is a special operator sign up and verification process which you need to use so that your game becomes "verified". If your game is "verified", players will get much more XP for achievements. You'll notice the achievements Zach earned in this video are WHITE, not GREEN. White achievements are unverified and give much less XP than Verified (green) achievements. If you play on location and you are getting unverified achievements, you are going to have to earn those achievements again at a verified location to get the full XP value from them.
I was wondering, is buying a insider for a HUO machine really a way to go ? What is really a point in having it in a home machine if You do all of the achievements on the machine once ?
Just curious...I like the idea of being connected for updates and such but if you have no interest or live somewhere where you are pretty much off the grid can you simply start playing your pinball machine out of the box without online registration and connectivity? Meaning does Stern force you to sign up with a free account before you can even play your new pin? Just wondered if anyone knows? And if you are not connected can you still download an update to a USB stick and manually update your new pin via usb?
I’m pretty sure you can play your machines right out the box (after you set them up of course) and do not need to make an insider connected account. That being said yes if you wanted an updated machine you will have to update through a USB drive. I don’t own any machines personally but have helped my local arcade update there machines. Hope this is helpful and good luck with your machines!
They are not. Taking preorders now. First run between mid November and end of year will be for operators to get them out for location play. The next run will be for home consumers in early 2022
I miss the days when this channel wasn't a big stern commercial. They own these guys at this point. Nothing they say as far as stern goes can be trusted anymore. Feelsbadman.jpg
I have not been able to do this for 2 games in a row both new. Even got a new phone in my own name in case that was the issue. I get an error message on the display. It's driving me crazy and have know idea why it won't work. It's on wifi tested working. Created an account and still won't work.
I started following you, deadflip, and Keith Elwin. Great score Zach 676,354,860

By operator do you mean someone who has a machine for commercial use? If so how do I do the special operator sign up?
