- If you're visiting the Wildwoods this summer there is one experience you can't miss on, the Silver Bullet.
It’s more than just a dolphin tour but also a deep boat adventure. Imagine watching the dolphins jump out of the water right in front of the Wildwoods Beach. Afterwards you are given the speed boat treatment as you fly through the ocean.
This is the Silverbullet
Located at the foot of the George Redding Bridge next to Beach Creek and the Boathouse, The Silverbullet does four trips a day 9am, 1130 and 2pm and 4:30pm.
In these 90 minute trips you are brought out to the open ocean after going through Wildwood’s back bays.
After traveling down the coastline and seeing the dolphins, captain will turn on twin turbo-charged diesel engines and take you for a ride of your life!
Before we get on, your going to want to wear some sunscreen and a bath suit because you will get wet on this tour and the sun is strong.

I'm 70 years old and wouldn't miss a ride on the Silverbullet every visit to the Wildwoods. Great fun!
Thanks Mr Ambassador to the Wildwoods. Back in the 1960's remember going on the PT109 & another year think it was called Pink Flamingo.
The Silver Bullet has been around for decades, with a number of different boats. The "boat ride" started in the Wildwoods with around-the- island tours like Captain Sinns and the PT-109. Whale and dolphin watching only started in the 1990s.
Thanks for the video, Joey! Can't wait to get back down there. . .
I've been on this boat numerous times. It's so much fun. We typically sit in the back, and BOY do you get wet! Lots of fun. We'll be going down the third week of August. Can't wait. Thanks for another awesome video.
This was a fun video thank u
It is the greatest ride you will ever go on love it !!!
Great fun 👍 Joey , I've went on that silver bullet a few years back it was painted a silver.blue then. It's a fast boat for sure but a safe one for sure! Thank you again for your vlogs on UA-cam..always a blessing ..as alwaysJoey, Julia and yourself are making these treasured memories possible for us all..GOD BLESS!!
Joey! Best video yet. I love everything about this. The subject matter is awesome and interesting, your commentary is on point.. and I noticed all of the different camera angles, perfect editing, music clips and nice "B roll" shots. A ton of fun and a lot of work! excellent job!
Like the Flying Saucer from Ocean City in the 60s and early 70s. A real PT boat converted for speed desiring passengers. Great ride!
I remember going on the one in Wildwood on Park Avenue. It had a seahorse on the front.
Captain Schumann and the Big Blue Sightseer! 🛳
That was great Joey! Never did it. We always do Thundercat. It looks like a lot of fun. We'll be there at the end of the month
Nice, Joey! Back in the '90s, I went on that thing with a buddy who just finished eating two plates of pasta. You can only image what happened to him on that boat! Yikes! Moral of the story: Never eat before going on that ride! LOL!
Used to go every year on my birthday as a kid starting in about '95, back when it was actually silver. I could probably recite the sightseeing spiel by heart.
All my years in Wildwoods and never done it! I should try next year...You should do a video on all the other similar attractions. Thanks!
So I randomly saw this video in June while searching for stuff to do in wildwood. It was by far the best part of my vacation, and we can't wait to do it again. Ty Joey
So much fun, I may do that this year
Hey did I know that they rebuilt the lampliter but it’s different, can u please make a video on this ?
Looks wild!
The Silver Bullet is fun. We rode it every time we went to Wildwood. I think this is a different boat. The old one was sliver. Joey what ever happened to the Delta Lady?
I think I spotted it in Captree state park on Long Island a few years back. Not sure of its whereabouts currently though. We used to go on the sunset cruises. I think we also caught the boardwalks 4th of July fireworks one year from sunset lake.
I went on a dolphin boat tour this past summer. They needed to open the bridge for us. Definitely seems like a cool idea. I would probably go on the first tour myself
My friend took the trip said it was great!!!!!
It was so much fun
Wow! That looks awesome, thanks 4 another great video Joey! Man I wish I was there right now!!!😖
Thanks for the memories. Used to take my kids years ago.
The SB is a nice time! Try to go every year on vacation!
So cool. Loved the video!
All my years in The Wildwoods & I've never done this. Tfs Joey 🦈🚤😎
My family’s favorite thing to do in Wildwood 🐬
This is so cool.
We did this a few weeks ago- it was the best !!!!
Whatever happened to the Big Blue Sightseer that was docked at Ottens Harbor
Is this the PT boat hull?
I’ve done the Silver Bullet and the Thundercat and the Thundercat was better. I saw way more dolphins on the Thundercat. Both were really fun though.
My husband took the kids years ago, not me. Thanks Joey.
Does anyone else think that the guy telling us about the dolphins sounds just like Joe from Family Guy?
