I haven't even started and just the premise of listening to Blessed Seraphim speaking on Vladika John (my Patron) is astounding. Please make sure to archive this in multiple locations. It is priceless!!!
Let's becareful not to become like the Catholics and call a person who isn't a saint, one. Great father but not saint. Am sure he will refuse to be called something the Church never gave him.
@@IyadJabbour_thePhArMaCiSt how do you think people become canonized? It's because the people venerate them. My Priest calls him Saint Seraphim Rose, even during the Liturgy :)
@@ThomasG_Nikolaj oh great so we did become Western minded people! So much for what Fr. Seraphim Rose fought for. And no, Saints do not become so because people venerate them. Imagine how many heretics people venerated! The Church has to study their life, all of it before they make such an announcement. If one thing in the future comes out that can taint him or her, what are going to do then!!?? The end of Orthodoxy will be in the West! So many no good stuff.
Can people tell how people's voices and way they talk has changed!? It's really like am listening to a a Hollywood actor or someone from the TV or news which I like
Yes! This is called the Trans-Atlantic or Mid-Atlantic accent! The Mid-Atlantic accent, or Transatlantic accent, is an accent of English, fashionably used by the early 20th-century American upper class and entertainment industry. As Blessed Seraphim was from an upper class/upper middle class academic household, this would have been the accent he was exposed to the most. For the technology of the 40s/50s/60s it's also a style of speaking which allows the voice to be clearly heard through the microphone, so it could be taught as well.
Thank you for this blessing! Question, in Orthodox Word May-June no.104 for 1982 - article titled: Literary Inheritance of Father Seraphim Rose by Damscene Christiensen on page 114 ..."Lastly, the St. Herman of Alaska Brotherhood has in its possession about 35 cassette tapes of Father Seraphim's lectures." Do you know anything about all those recordings and why are not available? Thank you
Wow this is so good, i could listen to Fr Rose forever
My two spiritual heroes!!

@@IyadJabbour_thePhArMaCiSt alright bro chill out. I'll humble myself and only call him Saint Seraphim Rose to myself or at Church
They are Saints because we venerate and call them Saints. They are canonized because WE start the process. Pray to God for us, St. Seraphim Rose.
What a blessed man he was.
I watched and enjoyed ep2 Fr turbo and the royal path. There was a lot of helpful stuff in there. I hope to see more of this content in the future.
This is extremely fascinating. Thank you!
LETS GOOOOOOOOO ☦️

Based and Rose pilled.
