I'd imagine that lycanthropes share some levels of similarity across all platforms, but based off my knowledge from Skyrim, they're likely more resilient, if not immune, to human diseases.

To be fair, the trope of a werewolf bite infecting you with lycanthropy is nearly as old as the legends of werewolves themselves. Generally accepted theory of transmission conditions are when the werewolf bites you without the intention of killing, it latches on and their saliva carries the infection into the bloodstream, before the increased healing factor kicks in closing the wound rapidly as the infection spreads throughout the body from the bite.
