Again, I love it when Johnny and the other talk about franchises I love. And power rangers is one of them. I don't know, Greg and Elliot listed the power rangers series just gave me a bit of delight for some reason.
Power Rangers...if you wanna talk about nostalgia, that was my childhood. And I can say that for a few things, but I can't stress how important that show was to me as a kid. Using cable TV and the Hollywood video by my house (back when that was a thing), I watched parts of season one, parts of season two, the Turbo movie, parts of In Space, parts of Lost Galaxy, a lot of Wild Force, a lot of Dino Thunder, parts of S.P.D., then proceeded to grow out of the show, though I did watch a few episodes of Samurai/Super Samurai. I feel old.
Chconroy you dont have to feel old, feel honored that you grew up with something as awesome as the power rangers! i grew up with power rangers too dude. which is your favorite incarnation of the power rangers? have a nice day/night wherever you are. and remember, It's Morphin Time!
Since this is a Marvel property and the title is a Power Rangers reference, believe it or not, Spider-Man started the Super Sentai craze in Japan. Not Sentai, Super Sentai. The Japanese Spider-Man show was the first series to have a giant robot (Marveller Leopardon), and apart from the costume and some of Spidey's gadgets, it is an entirely different interpretation. Yes, this actually exists. Freaking Japan, man.
God, I haven't watched Power Rangers in years. The last one that I remember watching and actually being invested in was Space, but that's about it. I do however, remember hearing about the others, like Jungle Fury, Mystic Force, and Light Speed Rescue. God, do I feel old now...thanks, SGB. I haven't watched a Land Before Time movie either. I remember the trailers always scaring the crap out of me as a kid. I think that my grandma actually has a few of them for VHS(remember when those were a thing?), but I haven't watched them.
I have memories of a Power Rangers movie and getting pissed at a 2 year old for locking me out of my room for 5 hours...I can't look at Power Rangers without getting pissed now.
Elliot turned 21 so the first SGB 4 Player Drunk Mario Party session will be uploaded tomorrow. That Prego name was a joke because in the picture with the four of them holding booze, Mark had Prego instead.
If anyone is interested and you don't have a lot of time to watch all of the power rangers episodes, I would recommend watching Linkara's History of Power Rangers.
Azure Phoenix I make kinda professional fan morphs , not sure if anyone on here has seen them , I'm only at 22k subs at the moment , but yeah it's Morphin Time
Agreed. Though if someone sees this comment thread not all of HOPR is on UA-cam so you're best bet to find them all is the Atop the Fourth Wall website. Also, if anyone finds a series of Power Rangers they decide to watch, go to Netflix.
Yeah, Linkara was very thorough for everything, pre-Dino Charge, having been a long-time fan of the Rangers. His retrospective series is definitely worth the watch.
5:37 Fun fact, even if the Kingpin looks fat, he has pure muscle under that suit, not a single bit of fat... In fact he is strong enough to even be dangerous for heroes like Spider-Man to get under his grip... Yep, the power of bulky muscles.
Mighty morphin then Zeo, then Turbo, then In space , Lost galaxy, Lightspeed rescue, Time force (amazing fucking series even for non power ranger fans), Wild Force (The one with the red ranger team up), Ninja Storm, Dino thunder, S.P.D, Mystic Force, Operation overdrive, Jungle fury, R.P.M (Regarded as the best power rangers series ever made), Samurai, Megaforce and now Dino Charge. That is the history and order of power rangers series kiddos, brought you by this nerd.
Yup, Its one of my favorites, mainly due to its dark and actually serious plot, and the fact they got really good actors for it. I also love Lost galaxy, S.P.D and R.P.M
13:04 Power rangers in order Mighty morphin' Alien Rangers Zeo Turbo In space Lost Galaxy Lightspeed Rescue Time Force Wild Force Ninja Storm Dino Thunder S.P.D. Mystic Force Operation Overdrive Jungle Fury RPM Samurai Megaforce Dino charge ninja steel
Time Force and RPM were my favorites There's been 2 Purple Rangers (one in Jungle Fury and two in Dino Charge [one gave up his powers]) the first one also played Vergil in DmC
Given Spiderman started the Super sentai genre in Japan (I dunno how) What do you think started their love fir spaghetti western? Pardon my grammar and spelling errors, I became sick
The Power Rangers shows that I watched were Wild Force, Mystic Force, Dino Thunder, Ninja Storm, SPD, Operation Overdrive. I had the Power Rangers Light Speed Rescue game for the PS1, & it has co op in story mode, but I can't recall if it was good or not. I mean, I did have fun with it, played it a lot, but I don't know if it aged well.
Hey Johnny you know it is close to October. Are you going to another Halloween fest game play? If so, would you play the Legacy of Kain or even Resident Evil Revelation? Oh yeah do another drunk game play!
Since this is the second time Elliot messed this up on camera I figured I'd fix it. Paul didn't call the British the "normals" he called them the "regulars" which was a term for British soldiers. Which was used Because the colonials still considered themselves British. Also it wasn't just Paul but a lot of people already know that.
If you guys gonna try a Power Rangers game for the channel, Super Legends for the PS2 would be a nice choice. It's an Action - adventure Anniversary game with Power Rangers from Mighty Morphin to Operation Overdrive. Plus, it's co-op.
Sorry guys, but you're wrong. First was Mighty Morphin (obviously). Next was Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, which was a 10 episode filler, in my opinion, and was kinda pointless. After that was Zeo. Then Turbo. Then Space ... Yes, I've watched a lot of this stuff lmao
Valeria Absinthe eh, don't worry about it. I've watched pretty much every power rangers series in existence except for the last 3. no need to feel anything bad, dude. power rangers is a great series. what's your favourite? i like them all, except the last 3 like i said.but that's mainly because i don't have cable tv anymore. i just use my tv to watch dvds and play games. do you have a favorite power rangers theme song? well, anyways, have a nice day/night wherever you are, and remember to stay beautiful.
johnny and gang zeo was after the mmpr trio with turbo than in space and then about 4 seasons later forever red (the very red anniversary happened) also alien rangers was a mini series of MMPR(namely the third season) and if yall want long look at super sentai list that series (which is the parent series of power rangers) ibeen around since the 70s lol
I swear that, i remember that there is one for the PS1 of LightSpeed Rescue? Well, i think that, it was co-op until you get to the Megazord sections, those parts are for one player.
Yep. There have been a handful of co-op Power Rangers games. The MMPR movie game (SNES/Genesis) is co-op, as well as the Lightspeed Rescue game, the 15th anniversary game Super Legends (which was on every 7th gen console) and the Samurai game on the Wii. They're all pretty much action/adventure beat-em-ups.
I maybe the odd one out but I never seen nor had interest in power rangers so please don't hunt me down and through bricks at my window and try to kill me in my sleep, I never had interest as a little kid, legos was my child hood and maybe thats why I enjoy starbound, terraria and minecraft as well as seven days to die, and dinosaurs, a reason why I like jurassic park and ARK so much and watched almost all of the land before time movies, if I were to do a movie commentary I will make nothing but references to ARK *pachy on screen* Eggman:AAK Me: Pachies, wont think twice about kicking your ass
You would think you'd get used to that from people who don't follow the show that closely but it's surprisingly still kinda annoying. No big deal though.
Again, I love it when Johnny and the other talk about franchises I love. And power rangers is one of them. I don't know, Greg and Elliot listed the power rangers series just gave me a bit of delight for some reason.
Smug Sneasel same here dude.
Let it be canon that Punisher's guns are called Rita and Zedd.
Azure Phoenix yeah, i wish. then, is the flamethrower the thing that makes his guns grow?
Power Rangers...if you wanna talk about nostalgia, that was my childhood. And I can say that for a few things, but I can't stress how important that show was to me as a kid. Toei Spider-Man is the Best Spider-Man.
+WeirdoTZero "I'm an emissary from hell! Spider-Man!"
Was it really? I'm curious, as I took an interest in Super Sentai recently. The whole series goes as far back as the late 60's, early 70's.
+Dragonpit 1975, i believe. Not that it's too hard to remember since we're on the 40th series right now.
It was amazing to see Leopardon show up in Spiderverse XD
Bill Hader is also BB-8 in The Force Awakens.....And appeared every Pixar Movie in the last 5 years.
Frank after the C4 charge...
"Where's the Ka-Boom? Where's the earth shattering Ka-boom?"

Oh god I can't wait for tomorrow. I hope they still have a designated youtuber after John, Elliot, Matt and Prego get brick faced.
Agreed! They are very well done summary videos about each season of Power Rangers.
Azure Phoenix I make kinda professional fan morphs , not sure if anyone on here has seen them , I'm only at 22k subs at the moment , but yeah it's Morphin Time

Yeah, Linkara was very thorough for everything, pre-Dino Charge, having been a long-time fan of the Rangers. His retrospective series is definitely worth the watch.
Azure Phoenix Dino charge is worth the watch , you can skip samurai and megaforce
The Aliens were a small arc at the end of MMPR season 3. About 12-13 episodes.
Go, Go Frank Castle you mighty morphin Frank Castle!
Elliot jokes about a "Land Before Time: Galaxy", but Littlefoot and his friend were _actually_ visited by aliens in the Stone of Cold Fire movie.
5:37 Fun fact, even if the Kingpin looks fat, he has pure muscle under that suit, not a single bit of fat... In fact he is strong enough to even be dangerous for heroes like Spider-Man to get under his grip... Yep, the power of bulky muscles.

Ah Time Force I remember it.
Yup, Its one of my favorites, mainly due to its dark and actually serious plot, and the fact they got really good actors for it. I also love Lost galaxy, S.P.D and R.P.M
I stopped at Lost Galaxy.
lets not forget that epic theme for time force
MMPR was first then Zeo, next was Turbo, then Space, Lost Galaxy. Aliens was a show, it was a Zeo special kind of thing.
Good ol' memories on power rangers
When I see the thug at 17:12, I'm thinking of Matt.
It would be funny if circus music was playing during the bullseye fight
i wanna see them play sonic shuffle for smackdown sunday, that's gonna be a fun night
13:04

There's been 2 Purple Rangers (one in Jungle Fury and two in Dino Charge [one gave up his powers]) the first one also played Vergil in DmC

Kingpin in Daredevil was Michael Clarke Duncan.
You guys need to play The Bouncer, the fill Story mode of it.
Given Spiderman started the Super sentai genre in Japan (I dunno how) What do you think started their love fir spaghetti western? Pardon my grammar and spelling errors, I became sick
hey matt, i watch law and order as well, same with law and order svu
Mugetsu? Better hope she doesn't call in her stronger older sister...
No the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie game is. Completionist reviewed it along side the actual red ranger.
Go go Shower Strangers!
Hey Johnny you know it is close to October. Are you going to another Halloween fest game play? If so, would you play the Legacy of Kain or even Resident Evil Revelation? Oh yeah do another drunk game play!
The Yakuza looks like to Telly Tubbies to me!
Power Rangers RPM was the one where the Rangers were really self aware ie. wondering why the explosion happens behind them when they morph
... Mugetsu... The Japanese word that means moonless sky?... The same as the technique that Ichigo of Bleach uses against Aizen?
Sometimes Silver sounds like Greg from Steven Universe
Since this is the second time Elliot messed this up on camera I figured I'd fix it. Paul didn't call the British the "normals" he called them the "regulars" which was a term for British soldiers. 3:20 THAT...was the worst throw ever... of all time.
Gamemaniac01
Castle: It's not my fault.
Someone put a wall in my way.
What do you want from me? I ran track in high school.
Gamemaniac01 It's still funny. Season 14 is alot of fun right now.
Let me guess, you wat h RoosterTeeth for RWBY.
jurfrokstar Yep, RWBY helped me get into alot of Rooster Teeth stuff.
when did Oleg get here?
16:47 I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard
Sorry guys, but you're wrong.
First was Mighty Morphin (obviously).
Next was Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, which was a 10 episode filler, in my opinion, and was kinda pointless.
After that was Zeo.
Then Turbo.
Then Space
... Yes, I've watched a lot of this stuff lmao

WHEN'S THE NEXT HISTORY OF POWER RANGERS!?!
Oops. Wrong channel.
What about Scooby-Doo? Have you realized how many goddamn movies they've made with that stupid dog?
while we are at power rangers and similar stuff...anyone remember the mystic knights?
Yes! Still mad that it got the shaft after that cliffhanger.
johnny and gang zeo was after the mmpr trio with turbo than in space and then about 4 seasons later forever red (the very red anniversary happened)
also alien rangers was a mini series of MMPR(namely the third season) and if yall want long look at super sentai list that series (which is the parent series of power rangers) ibeen around since the 70s lol
time force was the one with vergil's voice actor correct?
Yes, he was the sixth ranger
Also, DmC Vergil was in Jungle Fury
Yep, he played Eric, the Quantum Ranger
Does anyone know if the HAND shows up in this game?
Neither the HAND or Daredevil shows up in this game. But Tony Stark does!
power rangers lightspeed rescue for ps1, its co op beat em up
does Elliot not watch movies?
Where is the kaboom?
Why is Kingpin in so many Marvel things!?
HerosHelper ...Because he's popular?
onesonicguy Well I know him from the Spider-man video games. Now I know he is in this game and a couple of Marvel television shows.
Because he's the biggest(no pun intended) crime lord in New York.
Yet he hasn't been featured in a Spider-man movie I believe.
+HerosHelper Because he's more of a Daredevil/Punisher villain than a Spider-Man one.
Well there is a co-op power rangers game on the *cough* *cough* xbox 360 kinect
I swear that, i remember that there is one for the PS1 of LightSpeed Rescue? Well, i think that, it was co-op until you get to the Megazord sections, those parts are for one player.

They're all pretty much action/adventure beat-em-ups.
And all of those series are JUST Power Rangers, Super Sentai is like 30-40 series.
Brotherhood of Steel, get things straight pls.
Dino Thunder was still the best, in my opinion.
#FISKOFFURY
Order of powerrangers: Mighty Morphin, Zeo, Turbo, In Space, Lost Galaxy. You guys need to research this stuff its way off
I maybe the odd one out but I never seen nor had interest in power rangers so please don't hunt me down and through bricks at my window and try to kill me in my sleep, I never had interest as a little kid, legos was my child hood and maybe thats why I enjoy starbound, terraria and minecraft as well as seven days to die, and dinosaurs, a reason why I like jurassic park and ARK so much and watched almost all of the land before time movies, if I were to do a movie commentary I will make nothing but references to ARK
*pachy on screen*
Eggman:AAK
Me: Pachies, wont think twice about kicking your ass
Power Rangers RPM was pretty good.
I pretty much stopped watching once it ended and Nick started airing Samurai
Azure Phoenix Dino charge and Dino super charge is a lot better of the neo Saban seasons
Do lego batman 2
as a power ranger fan it pained me to hear you guys mess up alot of power ranger info.
You would think you'd get used to that from people who don't follow the show that closely but it's surprisingly still kinda annoying. No big deal though.
PaceBreaker Productions
as a fan i am passionate of the things i like so it bothers me when i hear things like this.
nbfre I completely understand.
PaceBreaker Productions
mhm
For the love of god, why Power Rangers:(
I gave up on Power Rangers after Space
