Amsterdam is a very expensive city to live in so it helps to have some budget-friendly tips up your sleeve!
In this video, I share my experience with the Too Good to Go app in the Netherlands. You can use this app to not only save money, but also fight food waste and help the environment. How good is that?!

Aww, we miss you too! Haha - he has the biggest sweet tooth ever!! He liked the bakery so much that yesterday we ordered from the same place again. I just googled and while I couldn't find Too Good To Go in Canada, there's another food-waste saving app called Flashfood: www.flashfood.com/. I think it is only for supermarket food though! And yes HAPPY NEW YEAR! Stay warm! x

Hi Lessa, just wanted to say amazing video!! Super handy to know. OMG what a steal on some of those orders, especially LIDL and that first bakery. You must've been eating bread for days :) Can't wait to give it a go. I'm concerned I will be on this app a lot.
Glad you found the video helpful! The TGTG app is truly one of my favourite discoveries this year, and I hope you get something good from it! If you do get a bread order like me, I’d recommend freezing some of the bread ☺️

@@LeesaYu Amsterdam is the best city i have ever visit, but the rents are too high :/
Definitely too high :( and our rent is already quite affordable compared to others.... just have to hustle harder I guess!
