Why do the barriers lower so incredible fast after the lights start to flash? Here in Germany, most level crossings have traffic lights showing red for at least 15-20 seconds before the barriers lower. As well, there is usualy one barrier only on each side, so that oncoming traffic could leave the crossing at any time.
Great video and crossing! Seen that a time or two before over here in the US as well, I'm kinda surprised the driver didn't just stay put when the yellow light came-on or at least attempted to drive across the crossing, but they definitely didn't pick too dumb of a choice in the end.
Appalling! Ever so shocked to see a car trapped within full barriers! The fact that this is a TMOB is even worse, as the Pedestal is right beside them, unlike CCTV operated crossings. Nice video of that rarely used crossing, such a shame that the car interfered with your video
Fab video! No harm done. Cool loco! 😊
Thankfully not!
I seen this at kiltartan level crossing in ireland today. Red lights and alarm flashing. A van sped up and drove through the crossing. Yelled misuse.
what a cute locomotive
Excellent video and crossing 👍

No vehicle should enter a crossing unless their exit is clear.

Storm in a teacup.
Oh my Gosh I have never seen that happen at this crossing before! He did not stop in a good place! Great Video anyways! 👍🏻
How does one accomplish such a thing 😂 Nice video either way!
God. Nice one🎉
Great video! I'm still in shock from when you sent me this absolute idiot...
It was a shock to me too ngl. Sadly, I'm not the first nor will I be the last to catch this sort of thing.

It is. Actually more thankful it was a TMOB as there were people on site to deal with it tbh. Typical it happens at a lesser used crossing!
Nice one im sure they can get into trouble for trapping people in the crossing!!!
That could have been so much worse
I'm just glad it wasn't!
Bloody hell
Car just missed the train
I think there might've been plenty of space there. If it was that close the shunter would've been going slowly or stopped.
Ugh some people
Nice, that driver left his braincells at home, most certainly! How'd you get a train here if there is no timetable?
I've made a good explanation in the description for that.
@@SouthEastLevelCrossings ok
There was no danger to car or train
And thankfully so!
what an absloute mong
