THE GOVERNMENT PLACED THE DRUGS IN OUR COMMUNITIES TO DESTROY US. Most of the people i grew up with in south side, hollis or Springfield gardens had parents that were on drugs or got into became dealers themselves.

I like how Flip made him describe the process of cutting dope. Benita and quinine mix was 3-1. You mix three spoons of quinine to one spoon of benita then sift it real good let it sit over night so the b&q can eat off each other and blend, but if you put it on it too soon the quinine will eat up the dope it had to be sold right away and shot or sniffed by the dope fiend. Thats where the term Turnpike dope came from. In the 70s and 80s niggas in Harlem usd to sell NY Quarters, which was a teaspoon of scrambled(cut) dope in a glassine bag for $25 they sold it so fast sometimes they didn't have time to let the b&q blend so they sold it to out of towners and by the time they hit home and broke down the quarters it had fell meaning the cut ate the dope up so cats began saying by the time you got off the Turnpike the dope wasn't no good i.e. the term "turnpike dope"… btw Cat got too much pride to admit to a nigga that he got slapped… his rep is too big his hands was nice…
