When we took apart our washer to replace the filthy boot seal gasket we found that this hose also had dirt and gunk built up. We removed it and power washed it but when we reassembled it we discovered the flange connector had been installed incorrectly at the factory. It had the rubber flange outside the plastic one instead of inside. We fixed it.
