Great phone, but terrible outgoing message quality. If you pause for just over a second it saves and you have to rush to get a message on it. It claims that you cannot pause for over 2 seconds but a) what’s that got to do with Gigaset?, and b) it cuts off just over a second and c) it cuts off regularly when you are recording the message. Best cordless phone I ever had , but lack of quality on outgoing message lets it down. Have gone back to Panasonic as Gigaset are in denial about several features on this phone, which are poor.
Hi Kay, the C570A has an anonymous call block, which prevents the majority of nuisance callers from getting through since most of them withhold their number. It also can also be programmed to silence the ringer entirely at certain times of day, apart from numbers you have set as VIPs. Hope this helps! -Daniel
