duddeee what??! im barely seeing this rn, she was a huge inspiration for me too 😭😭literally wouldnt have guessed she was homophobic bc her videos seemed like the opposite...
i remember that first message getting sent (the "its not homophobic to..."), and pretty much everyone who was active at the time lost their minds. however, i dont know why then three years later molly/radiant decided to remove everything, the discord, her deviantart, her youtube channel. i mean even post this happening people did stay in the server, and far as i was concerned, people supported her.
still, heres to hoping shes like... grown, wherever she is now
I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe it was because she couldn’t handle the stress of dealing with the backlash (or potential other backlash even though some supported her) and also maybe fear? I mean think of it from her perspective, she talked about “sin” so she’s probably religious and believes in a heaven and hell and wouldn’t wanna anger the god she believes in by being “overly tolerant” or something like that. The thing that really confuses me though is that (as it was shown) she had multiple ship videos of Cole and Zane and if she is religious and fears god or whatever then why the hell would she risk going to hell for a few ninjago animations? XD all this stuff really confuses me some times.

@@yasnil_7878 In the most respectful way possible, I really don’t care. Everyone’s entitled to their own beliefs. It’s just weird to me that she would make multiple gay ship videos and risk angering her god as a “god fearing” religious person, really, really weird actually, and she put herself in this position by drawing people in with all these ship videos making her audience believe her discord, channel, etc. was a safe place for them, she even said that herself, that she was sorry she let her audience believe she was okay with it. Like I said everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but I really don’t feel any sympathy for her and yeah she was a talented artist but she still messed up.

I didn't know Radiant glow was homophobic.
But I don't understand why Radiant Glow made Ninjago animations even though Ninjago is so gay that even blind people can see it and deaf people can hear it.

I also saw her as an inspiration back then, but I didn't know that she was homophobic.
We can only lead by good examples and show that it really doesn't matter whether you have a different skin color, a different gender, part of Lgbtqia+,... we are all great, we are all human.
Be who you are and don't let anyone tell you that you are bad the way you are, because that is a lie.
Always remember that the first step to living happily is to accept and love yourself as you are.
