To clear up something about the dungeons and monsters ranks because I feel like people will keep getting confused with those: When a gate is classified as a certain rank, it doesnt mean that all the monsters in it are of this rank (so just because a gate is C rank not all monsters in it are C rank monsters). A gate is classified based on the *total amount of magic energy the monsters in it emenate* (its been mentioned in the first couple of episodes). For example a really big amount of E rank monsters + a D rank boss could make a gate C rank. And a small amount of D rank monsters + a C rank boss could also make a gate C rank. The ants in the C rank dungeon obviously were not C rank monsters (they were probably low D or E rank). But their huge numbers + the fact the the dungeon boss was a pretty strong C rank one, made the gate C rank. I hope this helps
So a lot of people don't understand or are confused to how Jinwoo was able to (barely) defeat Cerberus. One thing is that Cerberus is NOT a boss, just a gatekeeper for the Demon's Castle door. Jinwoo was able to stack a lot of stats together. We don't see a HP bar for the dungeon boss/other creatures so we can't exactly gauge how much damage Jinwoo is causing to these beasts. - his Venom Dagger weapon - has +25 attack, paralysis and drain (-1% HP per second) - Title: Wolf Assassin - which gave him +40% damage to beasts - did 'Full Recovery' - which probably healed him 70-80% + healed his arm back - passive ability: Willpower - when his HP is low about 30%, he gets -50% less damage (only flashed on screen for 1 second, most likely missed by many) - bought healing potions - which only heals +100 HP per bottle (he got 3, which is +300HP) - Venom Poison (from the snake fight in ep 4) - which gave him -20% physical damage. [his immune to poison which negated the -35% strength] Jinwoo was only able to cause some damage to Cerberus after Cerberus' 'Rage' ability ended. So by the end Jinwoo was tanking Cerberus' attacks [-50% from Willpower + -20% from Venom Poison] at least -70% less damage. They off-screened Jinwoo killing two heads, so it might have looked unnatural to see him defeat Cerberus by killing one head at the end.
A lot of people got confused about this in the manwha as well but the rank of the gate doesn't mean all the monster inside are of that rank only the boss is, the rest of the monsters are either 1 rank below or 2 at most. Cerberus was either a very high B rank or a very low A rank, Jinwoo is at B rank right now and if that thing was S rank no even if it was just mid A rank then Jinwoo would have been dead instantly
@@Arjun-kz1ji I have read the manhwa. Cerberus is A rank. Jinwoo fough him with wolf slayer buff which is basically as if he had about +9 levels at this point, which means he was stronger than when he fought Kang (who was high B rank). And he still needed a full recovery, healing potions and the skill perseverance (-50%damage taken when below 30%hp) to activate in order to just barely beat him.
@@shhhh4637 lmao, so an A rank is just a 30% stat boost from b rank? u also forgot to add the extra 5 levels he got after cerberus but was still struggling aginst kang taeshik
@@Arjun-kz1ji Its 40% not 30. And its not "just" it. He was still way weaker and he would have died without the full recovery , the healing potions and the skill Perseverance. He only needed status recovery to heal his leg against Kang and he also fought him with overal stats about 5 levels less than when he fought Cerberus., And still the main reason he kinda struggled against him was his stealth skill. His speed was at the same level before even activating sprint and its safe to assume that his strength was much higher since he had used much more points for it. No point arguing about it, Cerberus is undeniably an A rank monster, even the Solo Leveling wiki classifies him as such.

This deserves to be pinned. Cheers!

that was just the gatekeeper to S rank dungeon, so cerberus was around mid B rank
He was A rank. Jinwoo is mid B rank
