From what i read, Japan set up vaccine centers in Japan this month, to increase the vaccination rate. Hopefully this will allow Japan's border to open soon. Still no date, not even speculations *I'm sure you'd know better than I would. I'm in Beijing*

Seeing this video made me miss Japan so much! The pandemic really ruined everyone’s plans, life and freedom, too 😅 That’s why I really wish that this will end very soon! But I have to agree with your opinion about wearing mask. I also do believe that even after the situation gets better, people will still wear a mask not only because they already get used to it but the feeling of fear is still there. Even the sanitizing everything will be part of our “new normal”. As always, thank you so much for giving us an update regarding Tokyo’s current situation. I like diversity too. I always try to be friends with people from different places. I befriended somebody from Mexico my Senior year of high school. She invited me and my friend to visit her home town and (Mexico city) in Mexico during the summer of my Senior year. My dad paid for the trip as a graduation gift. It was so much fun. I made a scrap book (but the pictures are faded because it was non-digital cameras back then, but I wrote about my experience. We went to a Catholic church in her home town, and the priest starred at my friend because she had blonde hair. I have dark hair so I fit in, and I'm 5'1. I like your videos and other videos from Japanese people, I really like your culture.

Really remind me when I traveled to Japan in October 2019. I went to places Rion mentioned in the video. Akihabara, Shinjuku, Odaiba. We stay at Asakusa . One night, we walked out from one station to our accommodation. It was quite far but the view really beautiful especially the sky. The weather at that time also perfect. I think it was middle of summer season. Love to traveled to other cities like osaka, kyoto
i miss tokyo so much, i usually go tokyo and osaka every year, i really love akihabara, i hope next year i can travel to japan again and visit nintendo world

Omg Akihabara is so Epic Awesome I'm a huge anime and manga fans and I would definitely go there to shop and then I will go to the game arcade to win some awesome prize but if there's a cafe of based on the anime character I was so go there and see what it looks like and who knows I might even enjoy it , Awesome Job Rion !👍👍👏👏😊🦁

I have booked a set of return tickets to Tokyo for the 2021/22 New Year, from Australia, hopefully I can make it. Fingers crossed. Rion, you have put on weight!
The crowd is back even though it’s still state of emergency then it’s bad! Eg, people go out for 1-2week yes, shop business can gain some sales. However when more COVID case rises… the shops will need to close or being named as cluster it will have to closed more than what they need to. In short instead of losses of 1-2week sales, it might hit up to 1month +. Please go out when you need to not you want to.
