Loved Fastway ever since the movie Trick or Treat back in 1986. can't tell you how much I loved the soundtrack for that movie! and it was a great movie too! This album is absolutely awesome for some old school rockers. l hope they were proud of this effort in their twilight years of making music.

Loved the first two albums. Third was ok. Trick or Treat soundtrack was brilliant....we don't speak of everything between that album and the one we are listening to here...but this is a true return to form!

straight ahead - classic rock, the way it should be- simple and direct powerful guitar riffs, good grooves and great singing- no problem worth to buy the album or concert ticket.

Great cd, I'm happy to see fast Eddie Clarke alive and well, funny thing is Lemmy went on to play harder and meaner things whereas Eddie went back to classic hard rock...

Trick Or Treat is an album where if you don't think it's great you must have your head up your arse! It's one of the best albums ever made. This is just as good! Fastway are an awesome band and they get slammed way too much like Kingdom Come another amazing band.
I agree..the " trick or treat " album and the debut Fastway album were both 2 of the best I have ever heard. Sadly it seems, everything was doomed to the start. People either mention Motorhead or U.F.O. both great bands but pigeon holed fastway their whole career.

It's a sad fact isn't it? Fastway never had a chance. I was always a fan going back to 11 and 12 in 87/88, but nobody paid attention to them. They were by that time aiming at mainstream radio audiences, but typically that move didn't do them any good either. Dave King's complete transformation is very much not what I'd like from him, but I think the failure of his previous band who should have been huge led to that... And as you said the whole Pete Way/Fast Eddie thing it just ruined it for them.

That album may have been a soundtrack record and therefore overlooked, but man it does kick ass! I think Fastway got a raw deal like what unfortunately happened to most of the best bands and still happens. They were all set to make it and then Dave King was out of the band and they went into a different direction and even that didn't make them huge. Pretty horribly sad considering Fast Eddie Clarke had been in Motorhead and bands even before that.

Whow..love Motörhead since 1987.....since yet i did not hear about Fastway. Great great old school hard Rock. Another style like Motörhead..you know what I mean...in my opinion Fast C. wanted ( R.I.P.) to make more music like Fastway. Great stuff!

I gotta tell ya...man ( cough! ) this is good shit. If this had come out in the 80's and they'd put the " eddie clarke " stamp on it, I dare say it would have been as big as the first fastway album. One has to keep in mind...true fastway fans are very silent and loyal like myself. ..yea, fastway music changes channels from one track to the next. We the fans accept that. Always have. Even the first fastway album...it was all over the scale. ...bout the time you caught your breathe after the last track on side one..heft...you were hit hard in the chest with " we become one! ". On side two.

This singer dances all over David king.For some reason Pete way from U.F.O. Was supposed to be in this band but it never came to fruition.This band opened for IRON MAIDEN on the piece of mind tour which helped circulate publicity of the first album.Jerry Shirley from HUMBLE PIE played drums for the original incarnation of the band.This is the singer who sang lead vocals for little angels.Its incredible what a vocalist can do for a band.Dave king was young inexperienced lad from Dublin who is incomparable to mr jepson.

I think I've heard the 3rd track "leave the light on" on 105.5 KLOS. it sounded just like anything that they have been playing from the 80s, that track could have been a classic back in the 80s.
Fastway needs more air time on radio stations. Wish KSHE would replace daily dose of led zep with fastway
What an amazing album of hard rock'n'roll. I wish Fast Eddie and Fastway had enjoyed more success, especially when Dave King moved on. Don't think the album cover (and title) helps much here, though...

This band was so underrated, from the start they were. I like Peter Way, but he should have never abandoned Fastway. The songwriting, the musicianship, God they should have been huge. However, the fan base they create, says alot.
