Yes i might be swiching to quantum guild or polaroid as they also play the game and are more on the casual. I didnt find a solid guild yet and still looking
First of, gotta say I'm sorry about what happened to Heroes of Middle Earth. I barely played it at all, but I think that a lot of the player base of SWGOH can agree that we feel your pain, to a lesser degree. CG constantly ignores feedback, and while I understand that they cannot just do whatever we ask of them all the time... I think it's safe to say that HOME probably would have been much more successful if they listened to their player a lot more. It feels like they are actively out to get us. We KNOW that, as a mobile game, they need to make a lot of money to keep the suits happy, but the truth of the matter is that more people would be willing to give them that money if they were more transparent and if the stuff they are trying to sell us didn't feel like we are getting robbed. It sucks. The road ahead confirmed that there is 3 more Gungan marquee on the way, as well as a legendary Jar Jar event that will require all four of them to unlock him. Boss Nass is just the first one to come out, the next one should come out in a few weeks, etc. They also confirmed a Queen Amidala and two more characters to use her with down the line, although they have not revealed who those two characters will be yet. Most of us think it will be characters from the Phantom Menace as well, since this is the 25th year anniversary of that movie. Fleets are really important. Personally, I don't really like them as I enjoy the regular ground stuff a lot more, but one of the easiest mistake to make in this game is to neglect your fleet too much. That can really hold back your account. If you look at the Fleet Arena, you'll see that it is a source of daily crystal income if you can manage to get in the top 50 of your shard. It's the best way for F2P to get more crystals which allow you to grow your account a lot more. I know it might be a bit boring, but I'd recommend you to watch some account farming guides to give you an idea of a direction to take with your fleet to give yourself the best possible chance to get yourself a solid fleet down the line. A lot of the SWGOH content creators make farming guides yearly to make sure they are up-to-date. I think it would be a good idea for you to look one or two of them up. It will tremendously improve your experience with the game. Lastly, I wanted to mention how the progress feels slow. That's normal. The good news is, there is a lot more monthly events than before in the game that will give you shards, mods and gear. Some of these events are locked behind some specific teams and the like, true, but the good thing about it is that, the more you start to grow your account, the faster and easier it gets to keep growing. Its kind of exponential. When I started playing about a year and a half ago, it felt daunting and like I wasn't really getting anywhere. Now I feel like I'm only unlocking things faster and faster as time passes.
Thanks for your input. I am still new to the game and i didnt look well enough into fleet to consider them a big noticeable improvement to my account. I will look on what to unlock and get an idea on how things works in more detail for sure. And i wanted to point out. I do enjoy the slow casual grind. Because as i go into a this game with a f2p mindset im in no hurry. It is just a bit tedious to do arena/account/raid video when it gets a long time to see big change in result or unlocking new stuff. I have been told that at level 85 this become a whole new game and i am eager to reach that point!
good luck man, i'm on the same grind :) are you in a good guild?
