I am about to make one of my own. I picked up the wood today. I now need to buy some carving tools. Sadly I do not have a table saw so looks like I will be doing this the old fashion way which is ok with me.
Nothing wrong with the old fashioned way! I made my first shamisen without power tools and it turned out just fine. :-)
If you want to make a really good one, let's just say there's more than one way to skin a cat...

Is it possible to get a copy of the construction drawings.
I would love to build one. :-)
Absolutely! Please search for my book Shamisen of Japan. I have a full step-by-step guide for building and playing shamisen. :-)
is it possible to make a shamisen out of synthetic pieces as i live in a place weather changes drastically
Technically it's possible! Honestly, if you keep your shamisen inside it'll probably be okay even with wood. Getting synthetic pieces big enough for shamisen might be quite costly and hard to work with.
What species of wood are you using? Looks like sapele or cedar.
Larry used Sapele, and I used Makore (which I later realized was much too light for my taste, so I built another out of bubinga)
Fortunately I don't need a file to cut my hair...lol
Top notch craftsmanship. Good job you 🤙
