The trick with the bombs in the first level is if you wait when you pick up the first batch of three more spawn and you can get nine straight away. As for the robot, in the harder difficulties you have to kill the robot to get the machine gun
That's the coolest intro I've ever seen in my life, and Power Glove's music just amps it up to turbo mode! =)

Wow I can't believe you guys blew three that SO quickly!! In my youth I remember it being much longer. Great to watch though...I just watched this and the batman play through back to back while I it ready for work!

The pulling out the shotgun animation is one of my favourite gaming animations ever. Lot of love for this game, and really enjoyed your Lets Play.
I can heartily recommend the Mega CD version. The soundtrack alone is amazing.
It'd be cool to see a Let's Play of the T2 arcade light gun game. I was obsessed with that thing in the early '90s.
Oh, yes, I had this game for the Genesis (as we called it across the pond), and I played it quite often. Good memories you gents stirred here.
My favorite Terminator game was T2 The Arcade Game, and I remember playing the hell out it as a kid.
It is funny how the music from this particular game sticks with you and I was getting vivid flashbacks watching you guys have fun with it.
My friends and I had the exact same reaction to the end. "Reese was dead......" But WHY???
Was great "you went the wrong way" xD never managed to complete this as a kid, Moonwalker will be good :)

I remember seeing a preview for this game in EGM in either Nov or Dec 1991. Based on this, I preordered the game from Chips & Bits and didn't receive my copy of the game until late June 1992. Considering the EGM article was probably written inSeptember before going to press, that should have been ample time for the developers to cobble together more than 4 levels. Very disappointed at the length of this game.
Here people bitched and moaned that Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days was only 4 hours long. Great video Oliver, you and Richard are making some great videos. Looking forward to either Moonwalker or Alien 3, CHARLES DANCE!(sorta)
Only Memory I had of my Brief Rent of this was fuckin round on Sound Efx,Great vid..Olly = awesome..Alien3 was my first Game for my OG GEN.Still have it to this day, sound track is So awesome on A3 and this.T2 Arcade was good as well. Super NES of that was closer to Arcade, but Sega made up for its gritty visual Limits with awesome Music.Its like the John Carpenter of home VG Consoles..Guess SNES was a Spielberg.

Play the SEGA CD version! Cause of the boss soundtrack it has.
Dude I still want to!. I did complete it the other week. Man its fucking rock hard. I recently updated my Mac OS to Maverick and the emulator doesn't work that well anymore. The music doesn't run in sync which I will have to correct if I do the Lets Play in future bud.
Where is the music from in the intro from? I think I've heard it before...
I think it is a Power Glove track, from the Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon soundtrack, possibly the track titled "Resurrection"
