Very helpful video. on my iPhone when using directions on the top of the map where it has your location my iPhone shows an icon that looks like a mic instead of the search icon I see in your video. What does that icon at the top in directions that looks like a mic mean and what happens when you tap on it?
There are three buttons on my iPhone while navigating. One is the search button to add stops. The second is the turn by turn navigation sound button and the last is the map direction button. This button will face the map towards the north.
Some shopping malls have inside maps. Try zooming in, and you will see the inside map. If not available, nothing will happen. Also, look for any buttons on the screen when you zoom in on a mall.

The eta numbers on the bottom that tell you how long till your destination have stop changing colors according to how traffic is doing Meaning, it doesn't turn green for good traffic, amber for slow downs, or red for bad traffic. I don't know what happened and why it stopped I tried everything! Location is on, I uninstalled and installed it again, restarted my phone , you name it! I'm a truck driver and use Google maps daily! Can someone please give me a possible solution? Thank you so much in advance!
You have reinstalled the app tells me that this is the device/Google Maps/internet issue. Have you tried a different device/network? Sometimes, because of a weak connection, Google Maps does not update those things. Hope it helps.
So I figured it out lol! It was the silliest thing. My eye doctor changed the high contrast font on my phone and that was causing the eta numbers to stay black and white and not change colors! As soon as I switched that off, it went back to normal! Thanks for all the help! I appreciate it
My navigation doesn't rotate when I turn, then it's inconvenient when it shows you on the map as if you're going backwards, how can I fix it so that it rotates when I'm driving?
when I add from to place, voice is working normally. But when I add among access points from to some opint and than final destination there is no voice from google. She's not telling me wher to go left or right. What to do?

So does it tell you in plenty of time to turn like up ahead turn right because on Apple Maps it’ll tell you use the left two lanes or after this stop light or at the next stop sign turn right I just find it more convenient for me because I need the extra help ha I don’t want to have to continuously look at my phone or wait for it to tell me right when I get to the turn I need time to switch lanes just want to know if it works as good for my intentions
I find Apple Maps voice guidance better. Google Maps has simple voice guidance that tells you to turn left and right. Apple Maps says to stay in which lane, keep straight, etc.
I found your video because I had a very dangerous and annoying thing happen to me on my way home using this app. The navigation screen would not go along with my blue arrow so I had to keep touching my screen to keep up with it. Is there an option to have the screen move along with the arrow?
I think your map is pointed to North. There is a button on the right below the sound option. Does it say "N"? If yes, tap this button and the interface will go along with the blue arrow.

Google Maps has reporting options, but those are region-dependent. If you don't see them, I don't think those are offered in your region yet.

Have you tried touching the top button to the right? The one one with the red needle. It's most likely, your map is stuck to North or something.

Must be the app issue. Try resetting the app cache. Also try other voices.

That's not possible. You can report things, but those are temporary.
