Hi Frank, what would you reccomend a 3D printing newb for a large, reliable 3D printer (at least 22cmx22cm work area, ideally larger)? Build? Buy? What brand? Reasonable cost? Reliability?

To gain experience I would recommend a smaller printer. New users usually underestimate your printing times and then wonder why their printing takes more than a day. Large printers are also difficult to adjust. With the prices out there, it's really not worth building a printer yourself. I would recommend this one here: amzn.to/36MmsEn 3D printer Creality CR-20 Pro.

Empfehlen würde ich diesen hier: amzn.to/36MmsEn 3D-Drucker Creality CR-20 Pro.

@@xpixer Hi, thanks for the input. Any thoughts on the cheaper Creality 3D Ender-3 Pro V-slot printers, being the low cost cousing to the Creality CR-20?

I'm confused by the videos I see where people use 3D printed spindle mounts - I thought spindles needs rigidity? Plastic doesn't seem to scream rigid to me...?
