- Pierra Makena is a Kenyan DJ and Actress, she has also worked as a News-Recorder, reporter, and Producer at Kenya National Broadcaster. Her Career as a Disk Jockey began in 2010 when she left Scanad Kenya Limited to help set up One FM radio station. Through all this Experience, Pierra talks about the Exploitation she has passed through as a Woman working in Different Areas of the Kenyan Entertainment Industry and how it Influenced her Parenting Skills and Marriage Life. She talks about staying Single and being more vigilant as a Woman in the Kenyan Industry to Avoid being exploited and Maintain professional Standards to Succeed in the Industry in Kenya.

Sometimes struggles in life make you stronger .I personally experienced some dark moments like 10 years ago due to lack of rent,slept outside with askaris at the gate ,have slept in a wardrobe along the corridor,, slept hungry for the most five days n today am so blessed and grateful to God for divine helpers .We all go through struggles but there is beauty in life .God is faithful through all seasons .There is nothing impossible with God .
