The stuff Sam can do on a bike that he adjusts to his liking is incredible, there are very few so rounded in a sport he can do anything. Any thing. And he tells you how he sets it up not like all top secret and stuff. Good stuff Mate.
@@feelinghealingfrequences7179 True, those bikes were not so dreamy. I should say every sponsored bike he brings out. Even still, he makes the crap bikes look good.. until they break.
Just wanna say a huge thank you to Canyon for sponsoring this man. They're doing so much for advancing the sport and creative ideas with all the different types of bikes!
UA-cam recommended this channel to me about a month ago. I wasnt even an MTB fan, but I am definitely a Sam Pilgrim fan. This dude is epic. Starting to enjoy watching comps now too. thanks Sam!
Never fails to amaze me the casual tricks Sam pulls out in long one takes. There might be planning involved and fail reels we never see but he makes it look so effortless.
Exactly. Like, a FLAIR is no joke. That’s a massive trick. It’s one of Sam’s signature ones now but still, “it’s casual” for Sam but like. Nothing casual about a FLAIR. Lol
@@zacharywatts9287 I grew up in a era where there were 3 people in the world that could flare a BMX. That is a reasonably priced hardtail MTB with modern GEO and dirt tyres. It's defentitly no joke!
I absolutely love this style of review. I watch some other UA-camrs who will stand there for 18 minutes and go over every detail to the Nth degree, where, all I want to see is someone putting the bike through its paces. well done!
I saw the guy sitting on the bench and legit thought it was like a bronze statue. 😂 Actually gave me a bit of a start when it was up and standing in front of Sam.
I knocked my front tooth out at work last week, I thought I knocked out the same one you had but mines on the right side. First thing I noticed is I can breathe better with the little window lol.
Friday was the first time for me to get back on the hardtail in 3 years since I've broken my back in 8 places. Man I love that thing, missed it so much, I've been back on my fully for about 6 months now, but somehow I love my hardtail more. I think I was even more stoked than you in this video :)
Wow that bike is a proper blast from the past. Exactly how we used to set up our old jump bikes back in the late 90s and early 2000s. One bike does all type thing. But with modern geometry.
Don't give the bike al the credits Sam. You are an amazing talented rider, every obstacle, bikepark or whatever you ride, you make it look so easy! Dreamzzz ❤
Thanks a lot Sam....you made that bike look so cool my kid is going to make me buy him one...but that is okay because it is so cool....and I order us up some pilgrips...so stoked...cheers 🇨🇦
Nice one Sam hope you can recover your stoic from that horrible bike theif. In the meantime if you travel back out to socal you can do some runs on mine. I love it for trails, jumps, skate park and pump track it really does it all
Yeah Sam🤘🏾 Absolutely in love with my Stoic , didn’t regret one second going for this hardtail, all smiles. From Bikeparks to cruising Dutch XC trails, love it!
I've been hoping you'd get your hands on a Stoic! Absolute legend of a bike, once one pops up used near me in the right size, I'm definitely getting one!
bro imagine missing an opportunity to buy a barely used stoic for 750e and also barely used canyon stiched 360 for 650e..they were gone in the same day....i was so bummed..and on top of my misery mr pilgrim over here decides to drop a video with this cool bike
Your skills are progressing - so smooth and stylish like fast and trick - I think that was one of my fave when you were flying down that trail - like so control and ya you look slick homie
Sam I grew up in Essex and Suffolk but moved away so seeing you by Felixstowe Pier and in Ipswich then seeing you're from Colchester blew my mind a bit! All the haunts of my youth.
My 4 year old Logan is genuinely concerned you have lost your bike and even shed a tear! He has been telling us if he sees the old man he will tip him off the bench 😂 Please post a funny vid showing its ok 🤣 Hope he meets you one day :) 🎉
Finally, I've been waiting for video with a trail hardtail. And you have smash it 🤙. What a dream. Got one similar and they are really great all-rounders for decent bucks.
You're a beast Sam! I just ordered a Stoic 2 during this bike week sale Canyon has going on right now. So stoked to get it, and when it shows, I will be ordering a set of Pilgrips for sure!
what got me is after sam drank that monney he killed that track i wonder what's in the monney and the way he controls that bike what a natural born rider love the vids m8 keep it up
Fluid as feck with awesone skills - and lovely bike. U rode that bike like an old and well used favourite. The bike appeared an extension of yourself, almost like you flaired out of the womb on it. Lucky sponsors Canyon. 👍
I’m wanting to get into mountain biking I was thinking of this line of bikes for my first bike. I come from racing dirtbikes, mountain biking just looks like a lot of fun!
Love the video! Can anybody point me to the video where Sam "cracks a Monnie" with no music to show what it looks like for Louie when he's dancing around? Thanks for the smiles Sam!
Hi Sam, your bike handling is on another level, love seeing you do stuff like flairs on different bikes, is that a 27,5 stoic in small ? As the medium s are 29, curious as after watching you on it I want one 👌
Trail hartails are the best! I have a Datmoor Primal 2021 (27.5) and it's so versatile, you can't imagine another! Trails, uphills, dirts, even skateparks (not as good as a short dirtbikes at the last, but dirt bikes are so hard to ride everywhere, you know). So Canyon might be the next one I have.. If it's really better than what I have!
I'd really like to order this bike and use it while waiting for my spectral 27, which will only be delivered mid AUG, but the color... That silver paint job is not convincing. I like the stoic 2 colors much better than the red of the stoic 3 or the silver stoic 4...
the epic flair slomo helmet manouver landing is hilarious.. 😁the grandpa is very lucky..looks like that is actually the one.. also it can be nice to send some big jumps on this rig too.. awesome episode 👌👌
I'm glad Sam got sponsored by Canyon, provides a more diverse set of bikes for him to get into trouble with.
Yea, all Haibike is just e bikes 😂

Always so happy too, if he isn’t flying through air on a bike of some description he is like just floating about on life😇
Very true, Sam shreds harder on a road bike than me on my dh machine😂
Sam can do all of that on road bike 🤣
Yea he pisses me off: when i try this stuff i fall on my face. What a boss.
I can't tell if it's the bike or Sam's skills but every bike he brings out becomes my new dream bike after the video. So good!
Definitely Sam with the awful bikes he shreds
Fr, I just want a ghosted version (Practically no branding) Any bike would be my favorite if so.
not every bike
u seen the free bike chllenge?

The colormatch of the bike with the pilgrips together with your tsg drip is spot on mate^^

Yes man. These hardcore hardtails are my favorite type of bike at the moment. I barely touch my dual sus enduro or jump bike. Please do more with it!
Sam, I love how your videos really show your personality such a free spirit, great talent, and a wonderful inspiration! Stay rad and keep shredding

Bought a bike similar to this one half a year ago, still having a blast with it! Small hardtails are so much fun!

Riding park with a hardtail is so fun, tech is more fun on a hardtail too in my opinion. The stuff you do on a bike is insane.
Loved the little seat height adjustment press a button
I was worried today wasn't going to be epic...
But it is now!!!
I think i speak for many when i say we would love to see you at Darkfest next year!

Some people are just born with it. The right mix and his son on camera. God damn UA-cam gold.
I used to have a Vitus Sentier, seems similar to the Stoic being a "hardcore hardtail." The most fun bike I ever had.
