This was performed on the Porter Waggoner Show possibly very late 1974 or early 1975. Joe Bonsall (tenor) hadn’t been with the group more than 1-1.5 years. Song was actually written by Porter Waggoner! It is a beautiful anthem and really a love song and tribute to Jesus. Oaks Band would revamp after this as 1975 was the year they really started doing a mixture of gospel and some country.
Absolutely fantastic, loved every note the Boys sang...👍🙏✝️❤⚡
Never heard this one before! Shoulda been a hit!
It may have been a hit on the Gospel charts. They didn't switch to Country till 1980 or 1981. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Nah, wasn't a hit on "Gospel charts".
@@20alphabet Oh Ok. Well, it was a thought!
I think best gospel song they sang!!!
Very humbling. Love it! Thank you!
Wow, look at those hair styles we all wore in those wonderful 70s.

Which one's William Lee Golden, the mountain man?
He's third from the left
Between joe and Richard
The boys could use a haircut. The group made it without anyone having a great voice.
That’s the dumbest comment I ever read. Each member had number one hits while singing lead. These men are pure magic
What? They all have wonderful voices.
