I like your idea for using brushes for food decorating, ooh maybe for certain creams you dont want to touch like icy hot, I'm always worried about touching my eyes or other delicate parts cuz even hours later, even after washing hands, the residue from icy hot is still on your hands.

My Drear Vivian. Dollar Tree dose have a vitamin c serum with a dark glass bottle. The name of it is SKIN NUTRITION VITAMIN C+ 1%. I just found it in my Dollar Tree and I been using it for a week. I’m impressed!!!!! I used it for a week and my skin looks radiant and it has helped my acne. I work with high-end brands like Estée Lauder and Elizabeth Arden. For a 1.25 is a great product.

Hey Vivian! Long time viewer, love your reviews! I just wanted to chime in on the vitamin C serum. I am a biologist and I wanted to share some information. Unfortunately, the Tik Tok experiment with iodine and vitamin C isn't a reliable test. I apologize that this may be a lengthy comment, but I want to explain best I can. So, I wanted to check out the serum online to better understand what form of vitamin C they were using. Their formulation uses 2-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (a more stable vitamin C derivative less likely to oxidize), so while L-Ascorbic Acid (L-AA) is the "gold standard" as pure vitamin C, it's also more unstable and harsh (hence why it needs to be in an amber colored, air tight bottle). L-AA could cause irritation and be harsh for sensitive skin. Cosmetic formulators say the great thing about ethylated vitamin C derivatives like this one is that unlike other vitamin C derivatives that require conversion into the skin layers to become L-AA, the skin recognizes ethylated Ascorbic Acid as AA already! However, there's no reliable research that I can find that confirms nor denies this. So, it may still need to convert in the skin into L-AA. This ethylated Ascorbic Acid is water and oil soluble, so it penetrates the skin a bit deeper and remains effective longer than L-AA. If the skin does recognize ethylated Ascorbic Acid as L-AA, then ethylated Ascorbic Acid could still be intolerable for those whom are sensitive to L-AA. So, to reduce any irritation it looks like this product lists tons of quality hydrating ingredients (water, glycerin, propylene glycol, beta‐ glucan [behaves like hyaluronic acid]), exfoliators and brightners (lactic acid, glycolic acid, lactobionic acid, and niacinamide), viamin E and ceramides at the top of its ingredient list before the vitamin C derivative (ethylated Ascorbic Acid). So, it may be a good option for those starting out in skincare as this is a "slow & glow" formulation compared to Cerave (which an absolute great brand, and favorite of mine). Cerave has L-AA at the top of their ingredient list. So, it's a potent formula! Now, the iodine test. Just because a vitamin C serum doesn’t reduce the iodine doesn’t mean it won’t be effective when applied to the skin. The reason is that not all forms of vitamin C are going to be available to travel out of a skincare formula and into the iodine solution. The type of reaction we’re seeing in this TikTok experiment is what’s called a reduction. The reason I want to stress this is that it’s not just vitamin C that can reduce iodine. Iodine could be reduced by any type of antioxidant, including citric acid, lactic acid, or vitamin E. The reaction can also be caused by other types of ingredients that have reducing power, such as sodium hydroxide. Almost all cosmetic formulas have multiple ingredients that could probably contribute to a reduction, so when you’re doing this experiment it’s difficult to say if a reaction was caused strictly by the vitamin C in a product. Iodine is what’s called a divalent molecule. This means it prefers to be in pairs and will always be found bound to another iodine molecule. When iodine molecules are paired up, they take on a brownish or purple color. Simply put, when you add certain substances to an iodine solution, that divalent bond can become disrupted and the iodine molecules get split up. This is what causes a color change. (Remember putting iodine on a potato slice in grade school and watching it turn bright blue? This is a similar reaction that’s caused by iodine coming into contact with the starches in a potato.) When Vitamin C is added to an iodine solution, it breaks apart the bond joining the iodine molecules causing the brown solution to become clear. Remember various compounds could do this, not just vitamin C. That's why this visual test isn't reliable to test efficacious serums.

Put Elmer's paper glue around your finger nails, wait until the glue dries and then apply the Chrome nail powder. When you're finished with the top coat, peel the glue off your fingers. Perfect nails every time.
Toothpaste! Best hack I've used to hang stuff... Put a small drop on whatever it is you're gonna hand, press it against the wall where you want it and it leaves little toothpaste dots on the wall and you know exactly where to put the nails ... Works everytime 😊

I haven’t been to a dollar tree in over a year! Tried to get some gift bags and balloons and streamers. The front door glass was broken floor had mud literally. For the stone spray put a coat of modge podge first. Because the vase was plastic.

Those pens work great for putting bleach in. My kid uses them to paint bleach on black clothes making her own designs.

Toothpaste! Best hack I've used to hang stuff... Put a small drop on whatever it is you're gonna hand, press it against the wall where you want it and it leaves little toothpaste dots on the wall and you know exactly where to put the nails ... Works everytime 😊

Same in Colorado we have some trashy stores it's hard to find good stores that are clean and well stocked.
Same - 5-6 stores around me & they all blow! Either they don't have any of the newest cool stuff, or it's all inside all the mountains of boxes around the stores! DT needs to tighten up!
I kinda feel like the employees of theses dollar trees have this mentality of “ I’m not paid enough to care” and they may be right! I would really love to find some of these items though! 😃
I haven’t been to a dollar tree in over a year! Tried to get some gift bags and balloons and streamers. The front door glass was broken floor had mud literally. I dropped my cc and was disgusted when I had to pick it up! Needless to say, we left what we did find there and got the h_ll out quick.

About the air duster, the dollar stores and other stores keep that behind the counter here in Arkansas where I live. Bc ppl don't use it for cleaning purposes 🙃
