My wife won 3 things from this game. What helped her and others win is by using a shirt or piece of cloth on the finger for smoother tracing.
Find it funny how when hes like 5 secs away It auto changes to 0 check the time waw.

these machines are riged not to let you win go to 0:46 and put it at .25 speed and watch the counter. it goes from 7 -0 almost instently

@Watcher3223 This is correct. It is the same way the stacker machine works. The game can not be won until there has been a certain amount of plays. The owner of the machine sets the amount. For flamin finger it is normally around 200 plays. Since this machine cost me 50 cents each play. That would be about $100 for ever prize that was given out which had a value of $50. The stacker is normally set to 1600 plays where as the prizes have a value of 200-500.
For anyone looking to try and win this, Before you play run your fingers on the top to collect a little dust, The screen will still read your heat from the fingers and the dust reduces the friction from your skin. -Winner.
All Flamin' Finger machines do that. I absolutely despise them.

The time drastically speeds up at the end that's why you need a long straight path at the end. That's how he won, the timer can't keep up with you if you can do the ending very fast.

the machine is set up so that the closer you are to the finish line, the faster the timer goes, it is also set to let someone win every few hundred times..
How to win flamin fingers: get so lucky that the final section is a straight. Like Mike Chowtee said, it counts down faster the closer you are to the finish. This would also explain why he kept losing at nearly the exact same spot each time this lucky winner failed.
yep the clock speeds up at the end it went from 6 sec to none, seems the only way to win is on ones with a straight end so that when the clock speeds up you can speed up as well
haha I noticed that, these people go to the same bowling alley as I do in Phoenix. That's crazy.

In all truth...it's rare to find an arcade game (that features prizes) that doesn't come already loaded with cheating abilities. If it were easy, there would be tons of free consoles, games, iPods etc being won . Even the low grade stuffed animal grabber (forgot the name) is rigged. Arcades are basically inanimate robbers only you choose to give them your money.
@secondhandedsoul I was using a lanyard. If you want to try make sure you get one that is pretty glossy. It works pretty well.

If you look closely, every time the counter gets to 5 seconds it counts down to zero really fast.

No, on the arcade machine itself, it has a "Warning" message stating that the closer you get to the end of the maze, the faster the time will count down. Which, in a sense, is a rigged game.
@DragonTrainerAlex Yeah each machine is different. Some of them give out crap like $2 watches or dumb kids toys. Just depends on the location and the amount to play the game.

If you notice that everytime your near the end.. the timer goes faster. jumped from 9.0 to 0 in one sec.
True, but you do still have to have a little skill in it. Also if there is a long enough straight away then you can actually win without there being enough money in the machine if your are fast enough.

if you watch closely at the time limit it says you have 6 sec left but when you get to the end with a few sec left it goes to zero just so you dont win

It jumps at the end like the other game. You have 5 seconds left at the end and it jumped from 4-0 in less than 1 second.

i think the payout rate for this machine is set to win every 15-20 tries.

The time does not say "Seconds" or any type of measurement, to use it in any sense would be inaccurate unless calculated, the time is merely there to take the eyes away from the maze itself. I personally wouldn't consider this rigged, but a good psychological strategy by the developers.
