This suit would be so much cooler if you could change the symbiote abilities back to black instead of white after finishing the main story. I hope Insomniac fixes that at some point.

Yea, I'm disappointed in the after story stuff. No NG+, no replay missions, no time changes, and then small stuff like that. I really hope they add all of that stuff within the next month or two

@@grannypersonwell the game just released, insomniac will update it 100%, they were probably more focused on making the main gameplay finished which is what I'm glad about. The game is finished. There aren't many bugs and the story is good. Take Fronteirs for example, despite not being great in terms of content at first, we got stuff later on and now people think it's one of the best games in it's franchise. Have faith in insomniac, they have the entire PlayStation brand on their back.

@TheBlurReturns16 no, why blue? Purple looks awesome, other then that there's white and basically the black one again but it's the "comic" version that's slightly different but basically the same

This is super nitpicky but I really wish there was a way to change the look of the symbiote powers from the "anti venom" variant back to the black one while retaining the anti venom effects on symbiotes

This was my most anticipated suit in the game. I haven’t unlocked the black suit yet but I’m really excited to. Watching my brother play with the symbiote abilities was really cool and I can’t wait to be able to do it myself and wear this iconic design.
I've grinding xp by stopping a lot of random crimes and doing flips so I can get this suit early before I finish the rest of the story and all the side quests. You get it at level 50 for some reason. I like Insomniac's version but nothing beats the original.
I like that the webs are still black for this suit
The purple version is my favorite cause it gives me Spider-Man Web of Shadows vibes 🔥 🕷

I love using this suit but with the dark purple color scheme, reminds me of the web of shadows symbiote suit...wish you could still use the black symbiote after beating the game tho
It also harkens back to Ultimate Spider-Man (the comics and game), where the suit is more purple than black.

They desperately need to add an option to choose between what color symbiote abilities you have in the post game freeroam. Theres no reason why that shouldnt be the case. They can either do this by adding a toggle in the ability selection menu and or just having the color depend on what color symbiote youre using. If youre using the white classic you get anti-venom, if youre wearing the black classic you get venom. Simple as that. I dont see why this wasnt a thing considering your webs are black while using the symbiote suit

I think it's not intentional since the tendrils that come out of you are the only part that stays white. Everything else besides that changes, so it might just be a bug. An annoying bug, but a bug nonetheless

basic black for me, the purple just doesnt work without the comic style imo, also where is the comic suit? and the og spiderverse suit? both of those were some of my favorites and both are missing. at least noir looks good this time and not like a steaming pile of shit.

its a small detail but you would think by now they would add it in. Spiderman 2 the movie game was the last time i remember you go visit the statue of Liberty

I have decided that when new game+ comes im gonna play the entire game from start to end in black suit( purple color) for web of shadows vibes and ill be able to black symbiote abilities for some parts atleast

I think in the NG+ update Insomniac will give you the option to change the color of the symbiote, I mean that’s what the fans want and Insomniac usually listens to the fans

Just started my second playthrough thought I would able ignore the spiderbot/photo collection stuff but nope still looking for them.
Just had a thought. Since Ant-Venom is kind of a symbiote but you can control it more, can’t Peter just tell the symbiote to turn the suit into the Black suit including the tendrils?
The way I understand it is that the whole point of the Anti-Venom suit is that it is Venom's weakness (Ie. A weakness to the black suit) so having the Anti-Venom suit turn black wouldn't work. In gameplay terms though, yes it could obviously work.

Why is nobody talking about the fact you have to be level 50 to unlock this suit? Why not be able to unlock it during the Black suit portion of the game at like Level 15 or something? Isi t because this suit would conflict with the Symbiote based cutscenes where it changes form etc?
It's called Calibration - you have calibration sessions and the person who leads the sessions or has the most accurate answers is the one reviewing the penalty calls. It's not rocket science. They didn't ever overturn PI because they were prickly about having to review it. They never had true PI reviews.

No 90s TAS Black Suit 😭😭😭 how it literally reinvented the Symbiote adding the Extra Strength, Other Abilities and Aggression changing every other media for the Venom story line
You can get it as a varient of the classic black suit
@@joshpearce5874that one is not accurate to the show, because that one has blue and red highlights. The actual 90s Symbiote Spider-Man had only blue. When the symbiote later bonded to Eddie, it turned red and blue

@@lunixriousnot at the moment. You can't unlock the classic black suit until after you've passed the last night time segment of the game, and since there's no new game plus yet, you can't replay the story with the suit unlocked either

Temporary glide, if you do nothing but glide you'll just reach the ground

They are all different. Default is black, one is purple, one is white and one is black with blue and red highlights
