Actually, you are wrong and so is XQC. In the game you have 3 crewmates who have all cleared each other. Going into the round, the crewmate core has concluded that two impostors are hiding among Master, XQC, 5up and Yisus. They even go further and conclude that the two combinations are either XQC & Master or 5up & Yisus. This is great for the impostors, if they had concluded XQC & Yisus to be one combo, you're in a tougher spot. The correct move in this situation is to kill one of the crewmate core, possibly during lights with several stacked. The crewmate core now first have to do the 50/50 choice between two of the established impostor teams. Then they have to do the 50/50 between the two people in the selected team. This gives plenty of opportunity to try and spin the vote towards either Master or 5up instead of Yisus or XQC. It's not fool proof, but you've got a chance. Now, what XQC did is dead wrong. He kills Master. That means that for the crewmate core, there are now only 3 possible suspects left; XQC, 5up and Yisus. And no, when Master dies, XQC is not cleared. Because he could very well have killed his own mate in order to draw suspicion away from him (just like he tried). So for the crewmates, their chance at getting an impostor out is in theory 66% because of what XQC did. Which is immediatly worse odds than those given by not killing Master. But XQC ruins his own life even further. He kills master infront of 5up and turns the whole situation into a he said/she said with 5up where either it's XQC or 5up, guaranteed. This information (which only Solar understands) is actually enough to give the crewmate core a 100% chance of voting off an impostor. Because the only two possible combinations remaining are XQC & Yisus or 5up & Yisus. All the crewmates have to do at this point is to vote out the common denominator. They took a chance by picking from XQC and 5up instead, but yeah.
