I have a theory.
the reason why the mods are based on these specific characters (not silly billy, however.) is because they all have 1 thing in common. They all have had a big downfall. Max Gamer Pro became hated because of the brainrot nugget used in videos, and since has had a downfall. Many people loved the Annoying Orange back then, but hate it now because of their modern videos. the same goes with SML, although it was also because of the controversial drama over the years.
the downfall thing is also why the characters in these mods are demonic entities. it's to show their downside as time goes by.
