Richey Sambora is my man. His voice was made to harmonize with Jon. His guitar playing is incredible. Plus he ain't bad. 💞✌
His album, Stranger in this Town, is one of my favorites.
I agree. I love the super talented Richie; perfect vocal harmonies and great songwriting. He makes Jon sound so much better.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think he’s still married to his high school sweetheart. His Dad is/was his hair stylist.
Yes they been married over 30 years
Yes, thats why he is different from other rockstars. He is loyal to his family!
Yep. Both his parents were marines too
Yes he is
You are correct
Fun Fact: Jon Bon Jovi was staying in a hotel. He had the hotel concierge bring up a piano to his room so he could write. That evening he had writers block, and too much to drink, and didn't get anything down.
The next morning he woke up hungover. He felt bad for having the hotel bring up the piano and not doing anything with it. He was looking out the hotel window and there was a wedding/wedding pictures/a wedding party down on the street. So he sat down at the piano and this song is what was written. So the opening lines are very true: "Sitting here wasted and wounded At this old piano/
Trying hard to capture
The moment this morning I don't know/ 'Cause a bottle of vodka
Is still lodged in my head...."
Also fun fact: By the end of the video shoot, it had gotten too windy to land the helicopter to get Richie Sambora (the guitar player) off the mountain. So they had told him he was going to have to repel down the mountain. Lol he refused, the helicopter pilot gave it his best try, and all was well. 😂
Thanks for doing Bon Jovi! 🤘✌️❤️
Bon Jovi had a lot of great songs,Runaway,Livin On Prayer,You Give Love A Bad Name,Never Say Goodbye,Born To Be My Baby,Living In Sin,I'll Be There For You,It's My Life,All About Loving You,Bad Medicine,Lay Your Hands On Me,In This Arms,This Ain't A Love Song...
“I’ll be there for you” is a must! “Wanted dead or alive” official video, as well as “living on a prayer.” All official videos pleeease! ❤️💛💟☮️✌️. And there’s sooo many more HUGE hits by them- me a my best friends were teens and/ young adults when these came out- we were all in LOVE with him!!!! ❤️😋😛
Never Say Goodbye is a much better song than I'll Be There For You
When I was in elementary school my mom had blonde frosted hair, drove a red Camaro, and we had 2 cats.. Bon Jovi and Poison 🤣
That is hilarious 😂
Classic.
Lol...if I hadn't seen it before, I'd say you were lying...
😉🤣
He owns a restaurant that serves everyone, rich or poor. If you don't have the money to pay he'll let you either do the dishes or sweep and mop or whatever for your meal.
I saw him in concert about 10 years ago and let me tell you OMG it was awesome
Yes there are no prices on the menu he asks for a donation of whatever you could afford or clean, etc. He’s a great humanitarian.
I love the line "Tonight I won't be alone, but you know that don't mean I'm not lonely"... !
Try listening to the whole 9 minutes version of dry county, it's Bon jovi's masterpiece
Brilliant song unbelievably under rated
Oh girl, you need to go down the Bon Jovi rabbit hole. So many awesome songs to react to. Love them!!
With an ironclad fist,
I wake up and French kiss the morning.....
Genius phrasing.
First concert I ever went to was Bon Jovi. I was 13. Me and my friend spend weeks listening and relistening his songs and writing down what we thought were the lyrics to his songs (yes, it is that long ago😉) so we could sing along. Which was hilarious, because back then my English was sooooooo bad...🤣🤣.. But the concert? That was f%*cking great! So I do not have any objections to more Bon Jovi.
I went on a fan Club trip and we got front row seats. This gorgeous man looking just like this Sat down on the Edge of the stage right in front of me and sang this entire song. He kept looking right in my eyes...cuz that's what Jon does when he performs. I thought I died and went to heaven. Damn I was his biggest "Mistress" that night...his loving fan and audience. But this song obviously is for his wife and love of his life... Dorothea. Unforgettable for me for sure...A night I'll never forget. I've had interactions with other Rock stars but this one really ROCKED ME!🌹😍🌹
my husband dedicated this song to me 20 years ago and you just reminded me of the love we share,THANK YOU
Have seen BJ in concert 9 times since 1982!! Always a kick ass show!!
I love Bon Jovi. I was a teenager in the mid 80’s when they released their first albums.Jon Bon Jovi has been married to his high school sweetheart all this years. He is also the only artist that I know of that splits the profits with his band in equal parts. I think that’s why they stayed together so many years.
Love this man's music and his character. He's a good man.
I got from this that being out on tour has the downside of not being with the one he loves, and nothing fills that gap.
He's just 🔥
This was dedicated to his wife. He's talking about being on the road but never forgetting who really loves him. He knows where his heart stays..With her.
Even though his body doesn’t stay with her...
And even though he talks about being unfaithful. Unless mistress is another word for the touring life.
TucBroder right. Another song that’s clearly about cheating that people miss somehow is “lips of an angel.”
@@mikemck4796 Yeah. I mean, The Mistress aside, he talks about the blonde still in his bed... The song is obviously about cheating, although he still loves his current partner. I mean, the mistress and the spotlight thing could clearly be about the touring and taking the stage again, and "won't be alone" would refer to the crowd, but the blonde in his bed?
TucBroder I’m aware it’s clearly a cheating song. I understand most don’t listen to lyrics closely, but once you do, it’s weird to not get it.
Mr bon jovi is truly iconic. That is why he is in the rock and roll hall of fame.
Jon Bon Jovi is an absolute icon, and one of the best parts of my childhood. That raspy, heavenly voice I have absolutely loved since my cousin introduced me to Slippery When Wet, when we were both 11years old, sneaking it behind our parents backs 😂 He could pour emotions into that voice and make you feel it ten fold. Please continue the Bon Jovi journey
Jon Bon Jovi was my first crush.
The whole song is about touring vs missing his lady. The blonde is a guitar. The mistress is the crowd. It's all symbolism
I love this reaction. You've nailed the ideas of depression. We've lost so many famous people to it. The one that hits me hardest is Robin Williams
I agree
I Feel the same
Covid canceled plans to see jon bon Jovi for last time but hey I still got there music to blast away, Here's something we do, we lose loved ones we lay down Rose's bed of Rose's before vault closes n this song comes out he's probably only one stayed married to his sweetheart 3 decades.
This is one of my fave Bon Jovi! If you haven't already you should try Never Say Goodbye ❤❤❤
I think he's talking about life away from home and the simple things and love he left behind. Great song
My favorite ever song. Only song that matches that is. Patrick swazye she,s like the wind. No other songs can match them. They always make me cry and give me shivers ❤️❤️❤️❤️
One Of My Favorite Rock Bands !😢😮😂🤔🥰🎹🪈🥁💃🎶🎛🖥
Oh I’m sooooo ready! Love this one and tons of BON Jovi- this has special meaning-☺️😉. ❤️💛💟☮️✌️
Bon Jovi has a ton of great ballads this is one of the best but they have a Lotta good ones
I fell in love with Jon in 1987. The first moment I heard Living On a Prayer, I knew he was writing my life story and so many songs that came after we're the same. We are the same age, but the first time I saw them in concert I was instantly turned back to a giddy teenaged girl again. ❤️ He is indeed a very fine man. 😍 Got to see him thrice. Never got close enough to "jump on Jon" tho, which was something I always teased my hubby about. LOL!
One of greatest bands ever
I love your reaction😊 this man and his music and the whole band is so amazing.thank u so much for reacting to this beautiful song
This is one of my favorite song 😍😍 thanks for reaction 😍😘😘
He is great always
Bon Jovi fantástico
Love Bon Jovi! Bed of Roses is one of the greatest rock songs ever. Listen to his Spanish version "Cama de Rosas," which is just as amazing.:)
The song is about the classic rocker's road experience. Sure, they had groupies and bartenders along the road, but they longed for the girl at home. Some of these classic rock bands were on tour for YEARS at a time. People have needs.
His 'mistress' he mentions is the band, and their life on the road. She - the band - calls him for her spotlight - the touring and the shows - "Tonight I won't be alone, but you know that doesn't mean I'm not lonely" is another gig, another show, where he'll be with thousands of people crying out for him, and still miss the one person he wanted to be with. 'Drunk' with adrenaline (and probably lots of vodka... and beer, but mostly vodka), but when the night is over, all that's left is the hangover of loneliness (and probably a major head ache).
This song is about him staying away from his wife Dorothea while touring the world, how he misses her and wants to go back.
I have seen them 44 times, they are AWESOME!!! Need to check out Born to be my Baby and Faith
Jon Bon Jovi is an amazing songwriter and lyricist... check out “Living in Sin”. The video for that song was at one time banned from MTV for being too racy.
Believe it or not India he is still married to his high school sweetheart which is unheard of in rock music
Amo Bon Jovi con todas las fuerzas de mi corazón!!!!! Gracias por tu reacción!!!!
Aunque pasen los años Jon sigue hermoso!!!! Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Bon Jovi Never Say Goodbye hsd go to be on the list. What a great song.
Thanks for reacting to this classic, brings back a lot of summer childhood memories ❤
Trivia: simba's mane is based on his hair 👌
Living in sin / Dead or Alive /Born to be my baby / you give love a bad name/ I'd die for you.. / Never say goodbye❤
He's talking about the loneliness and how he misses his love while he's on the road. he's talking about how his mistress is calling him back to the spotlight. He's been touring and all he can think of is his girl. And yeah he had an indiscretion and girls flirting with him but all he can think of is her. At the end he says, It's you I'd die to defend. Omg, who the hell does not love Jon!!!
Oh my goodness - Bon Jovi, serious 20s crush here for me. I will always love their music.
Just scrolling, checking out some JBJ reactions. Great breakdown of the music, tone, intensity, emotion, and meaning. A lot of fun and enjoyment to listen to you. You got yourself a subscriber
My favourite Bon Jovi song is In These Arms. But then I grew up on them, so I'm biased. :)
Richie Sambora goes full badass on Dry County and Next 100 Years with the solos! You should do a review of one of those 2 Bon Jovi songs.
One of the best bands out of the 80. They are incredibly full sound , almost orchestrated to the point of theatrical. There great writing. Of course the brutality handsome Jovi. Just love his music though. Another great breakdown by the queen of reaction, India.
One of my favourite songs of all time! And their show was the best I have ever been to.
If you get the chance, one song you should look at is "Back For Good" by British band Take That. It was their only big hit in the US, but it did reach the top 10 on the Billboard charts.
I second that and also want to add Robbie Williams' 'Angels' - esp. as a live version
Love your reaction to Jon. Yeah... he inspires that reaction in most of us. LOL
I started out with the 80s hair metal. Then progressed into heavier stuff. But man Jon's voice , power, passion matched with Ritchie's playing n backing vocals....perfect Rock songs.
Oh my God you reacted to my favorite Song of all Time and Eternity.
Thank you.

Jon is thinking about Dorothea, with whom.hes been since high school. And the 4 kids she's raising on her own when he's on the road. Couldn't have been easy but they are still very much together. Greatly enhanced by the guitar and gorgeous harmonies of Richie Sambora and the stellar piano of Juilliard grad David Bryan. Dorothea is one lucky lady. Jon is the real deal
u r right !!.....this hot man can sing his ass off !!.......plus, he's a great human being...
Hey India, Bon Jovi was our life in the 80's, Good to see you reacting to them now. Wish you knew them back then. Please see "I'll be there for you" and "Always" and " Someday I'll be Saturaday night". Cheers mate. Loving the reactions xxx
Love Bon Jovi. Please do This Ain’t a Love Song by Bon Jovi. I love your reactions. You’re so honest. Love you.
Yep still married over 30 years now to his high school sweetheart Dorothea and I think all three kids are now grown up.
Very good analogy!
Love it! Keep jammin bon jovi
Ole piano ....immaculate
Like so many have mentioned soooooo many songs it's like they had a hit album every decade starting in the 80s. Go down that path we will be here for it, trust me!
He also spoke about how inadequate using a phone is, when you are missing your love.
A fabulous song. It was the first dance at my daughters wedding. You can’t go wrong with Bon Jovi.
Please do more Bon Jovi, Wild Is The Wind, Lay Your Hands on Me, I Would Die For You, ....anything Bon Jovi ❤️
My favorite band
My mom played this song on repeat when I was little lol still love it though
All time favorite band and favourite song. First concert too. Love them.
To me, this song is a master piece written by Jon Bon Jovi
Waking up with a french WHAT?

bon jovi was the soundtrack of my childhood. he has so many great songs. bad medicine shot through the heart, dead or alive, runaway, blaze of glory, living on a prayer, its my life, and so many more
I’ve loved this song since I heard it for the first time many years ago. John is so hot here and I’m not even straight haha
yeah, i waited since last year for your reaction to bon jovi. Thank you very much. Could you react to bad medicine? or a you give love a bad name? but live so you can see the interaction with the public. Greetings and I hope you are well before the covid-19 Greetings from México
I love Bon Jovi!! Seen them live three times. My favorite band! There are so many good songs! You really should react to Always. It is one of my favorite songs ever!
I absolutely love your reaction to this, And I really enjoy when people open their eyes and listen to music they never listen to before music that I’ve loved for 33 years
I'm so happy to see Bon Jovi pop up here. They're my favorite group across any time or genre and their song Living on a Prayer is my absolute favorite as well. I'm glad you enjoyed this one!
His music career was his mistress, being on stage in the spotlight. He is still married to his high school sweetheart over 40 years! He was touring and missing his wife. I love the intensity and passion in his voice, and I love that he is such a good man who gives back to his community. I've been a fan for decades.
Friend was a singer who did weddings. It always stunned him how many never listened to the words, and would request this as their wedding song.
Always and ill be there for you
This is such a great song , also Bon Jovi is the band Jon Bon Jovi is the lead singer
This band these songs are my high school days. Loved them then, love them now.
Let's not forget Ritchie Sambora's backing vocals and guitar work.
I love jon bon Jovi and the band bon Jovi.
Love ❤️ your break downs, how about there songs I’ll Be There For You, Always and I love ❤️ Keep The Faith!
@India, YES THAT guitarist is THE Richie Sambora!!! He's AMAZING!!!🎸🎶🎤💋🌹💖
India, you've gotta watch Carpool Karaoke with P!NK...she tells a story about Jon BonJovi.. You'll love it!!!💋🌹💖✌ IT'S really awesome!! And yes he finally married his HS sweetheart, Dorothea, in like 1984-85ish...n has been together every since!!! Happily married I have to say... This is for @Jeff Miller too😉✌
Jon Bon Jovi dedicated this to his wife , Jon and Dorothea have been happily married for 31 years and treat's her like a Queen 😎
Have been the fan for last 35 years and still am. Love their music
"Runaway"!
Scorpions "When the smoke is going down" is another song on the same theme.
i still love this woman.
He wrote this song while he was on tour for his solo Blaze of Glory album.
He asked the hotel, if it could bring up a piano to his room so that he cold write a song. (He felt inspired because there was a wedding going on outside his window.
.
You are right, the mistress he refers to in the song is the tour and the music. So, he is saying that the music is calling him back to the road.
And someone mentioned it below, but he dedicated it to his wife (who was also his high school sweetheart).
The "mistress" was a metaphor for fame. The blonde in his bed is a favorite guitar.
Joderrr bon joviiiii
