    5 Steps - How to Season and Cook with a New Lodge Cast Iron
    Step 1: Apply a very thin layer of vegetable oil (Canola oil) then wipe off the excess oil
    If you use too much oil, your cookware may become sticky
    涂油(蔬菜油) 后用干净的餐巾纸再擦一次
    Step 2: Place cast iron up side down. Bake at 230℃ - 250℃ for 1 hour
    锅子倒扣进烤箱以230℃ - 250℃烤1个小时
    *If you don’t have an oven, you may season your cast iron over the stovetop over medium heat until the oil is just smoking
    没有烤箱的话,在灶台上以中火烤至刚刚冒烟的程度即可
    Step 3: Allow to cool before using it
    锅子烤好、冷却后才可使用
    Step 4: To use it, pre-heat the cast iron over low - medium heat for 5-10 minutes (Do not use high heat) These steps help prevent food from sticking
    使用前先已小火-中火预热锅子(严禁使用大火、使炉火接触锅底整面、甚至超过锅底)
    在电炉上使用时以800W(中火或以下)为宜
    Step 5: Once your cast iron is pre-heated, add a little oil. Then simply add your food! (Note: if you want to use butter, start with oil, and then add butter right before you add your food)
    铸铁锅预热后加一点油即可开始烹煮
    4 Steps - Clean and care for Lodge Cast Iron
    Step 1: Wash with salt + soapy water while it is warm (NOT Hot)
    (do not pour cold water directly on to the cast iron while it is still hot, to prevent cracking)
    每次使用后,趁锅子温热时加盐 + 洗碗液,用铁丝球将锅子内外清洗干净
    Step2: Rinse and towel dry thoroughly
    冲洗干净 - 擦干水份
    Step 3: Apply a very thin layer of vegetable oil (Canola oil) then wipe off the excess oil
    If you use too much oil, your cookware may become sticky
    涂油(蔬菜油) 后用干净的餐巾纸再擦一次
    **Step 4 - Season over the stovetop (if you use you cookware everyday) Heat over medium heat until the oil is just smoking - Let it cool then stored
    如果你每一天都使用这个锅子:在灶台上以中火烤至刚刚冒烟的程度、离火、收藏
    **Step 4 - Season in the oven (if you don’t use it everyday or if you want to restore a rusty cast iron cookware) Place the cookware in the oven upside down. Place a large baking sheet or aluminium foil on the bottom rack. Bake at 230℃ - 250℃ for 1 hour. Allow to cool before removing it out from the oven
    如果你没常用这个锅子或者想把生锈的锅子变成原本的状态:将锅子倒扣进烤箱以230℃ - 250℃烤1个小时 - 然后让锅子在烤箱自然放凉后才收藏在柜子里
    **It can be beneficial to season your cast iron in the oven 5-6 times a year
    建议一年5-6次的进行铸铁锅的“烤箱Seasoning”步骤
    FAQs:
    1.How to clean stubborn stain or stuck-on food on the cookware?
    Simmer a little water for 3-5 minutes - Pour water out - rub with soda powder or salt - rinse with water - towel dry - apply oil - heat until smoking - remove from heat (Repeat this steps to fully wash off the stain)
    有顽固残余的话加点水煮3-5分钟-把水倒掉-用苏打粉或盐把残余刷掉-清洗-擦干-涂油-煮至冒烟即可(可重复数次直到残余被洗干净为止)
    2.Why you need to season your cast iron cookware after each use?
    Cooking (acidic foods, using excessive heat) or cleaning (scrubbing with abrasive utensils or scouring pads) may remove your previous seasoning (which prevents the cast iron from dusting) The seasoning steps after each use to ensure the seasoning remains intact for quality cooking
    用完后不season你的锅,锅就会生锈
    所以每次用完后一定要seasoning
    Seasoning is simply oil baked into the iron giving it a natural, non-stick cooking surface and helps prevent your cast iron cookware from rusting. A well-seasoned cast iron cookware will last for generations.
    正确保养好的锅子是不会黏锅的

    3.What other oils I can use to season?
    You can use vegetable oil, canola oil or flaxseed oil
    4.What can I cook with Lodge Cast Iron Cookware?
    Everyday cooking recipes like sear pork chops, grill steaks, sauté veggies, fry chicken, fry eggs and bacon, soups, stews, braising meats, bake bread, cake or pie in the oven

    5.Can I use it on induction cooker?
    It can be used on any heat source, except for microwave

    You can use silicone, wooden, and even metal on Cast Iron cookware, there is no chemical coating to damage

    7.What not to cook in Cast Iron cookware?
    Acidic, alkaline foods such as beans, tomatoes, wine, vinegar should only be cooked once seasoning is well-established

      因为这个锅子很热,离火了还是很热,怕你马上用冷水冲,水会溅起来烧伤你。可以用铁铲,用什么材质的铲子都可以

      煲汤可以,但煲好后不能把汤存放在里面太久,它是铁制的,浸水太久会生锈

      开锅程序seasoning可以重复做3次,可以减少这事发生。
      铸铁锅的特点是含碳量大,经过火烧之后,其中的碳会稀释出来,粘在锅体表面,所以一擦就有黑色,吃下一点点的碳其实对身体无害的

      有濕氣就會生鏽,但是生鏽後只要跟著幾個步驟做,它又會變成像是新的鍋子了
