27:08 that’s why Knotts is great! you don’t need like noises or lights to scare just get a couple to group attack at every angle & you’ll get a scare 😅😂

39:44 This right here is why I think Knotts is the superior haunt over Universal. No loud noise, no flashing lights. Literally just someone gently opening a door and slowly popping out. Knotts nails the atmosphere. I also appreciate the fact that if you don't have arachnophobia, it wouldn't be that scary overall; so instead they lean in to being slightly silly.
They improved the music for Room 13 this year. Last year it was just this sort of two tone bass line, but this year they a few extra instruments, giving it a creepy sort of jazz feel. Love it.
You tell me! The maze that took the cake in my opinion is definitely Widows, because of the surprise in its theming that it has in store as you go through the maze! At first, it would be like your average spider infested old folks' home, but as you venture deeper, you soon find out that this is no ordinary trek into a spider's web of terror, but it is actually a front for a cult of Spider-People that worship a malevolent Spider Spirit!
If I ever do get the opportunity to go to Knott's, I'd LOVE to have one of those lanterns. I feel like it'd make the mazes and scarezones have a much creepier vibe, it'd be kinda like the horror game Amnesia
Great vid! Bloodline feels like it doesn’t know what it is if that makes sense? You can tell something is missing (the interactivity) and so I think the KSF team made the right call to make this its last year. Glad you had a good time Elsie!
Elsie has gone from a reserved and shy hostess in 2021 to now a Halloween loving interacting with the monsters hostess what a evolution! Love the new hair color too
i'm planning to do both back to back. knotts first then dark harbor on the last day but on the way to knott's scary farm, i want to check out the ship on board
So in Bloodline 1842’s first year it was basically a vampire version of Special Ops Infected, then they took the guns away and now it’s just a regular maze…I can see why this is it’s final year
Also the preshow is just completely gone now. The same thing happened with The Depths, it had a whole elevator room to descend into the mines but that was taken out toward the end of its run.
🎃 That flashlight is cool! 👍🏻😲 Well, I love your videos, I definitely look forward to this Halloween season with great excitement and enjoy each of your videos and honestly I'm a big fan of Elsie, I would like to take the tour of each of these spooky houses sometime and if I could I would like to take a photo with Elsie if she allows me of course. 🙌🏻🥰
Elsie When You Said To Call Your Grandma i Can’t Because She is in Heaven at The BeautifuL age of 91. My head gets That She was old & it was Her Time But Why Does The Heart Not Get it 😭😭😭😭.
You know when you get a call from your Nana, and she asks you to help her clean out her spider nest of a garage AND THEN you remember Nana died 5 years ago. It’s kind of like that.
Last year it changed color inside the houses and activated some animatronics in the scare zones. This year it’s interactive with other lanterns but we literally couldn’t find any of the interactive features in the park.
@@sharpproductions I'm actully learning more about the lanterns myself, but if im correct, if you really want to see through most interactions with the lanterns, go late October instead of early September or early October since they set up more of the scanners for the lantern to change colors. Mine went crazy in colors in all the mazes when I went late October. It might be more crowded, but it definitely looks cool. There's also a new I interaction map for the lantern so you could see where to activate it at.
Last year they were interactive inside the mazes. This year they are not, but they can interact with each other and there are some activations outside the mazes apparently, that we were not able to find.
Why are the victims in cinema slasher trying to scare ? That’s the slashers’ job, like they can scare but scare as a victim, scream out for help unexpectedly. If they keep doing that then what’s the use of a slasher!?!?
truthfully, i sometimes just follow/talk to people with lanterns to create an uncomfortable social situation where they feel responsible for my ‘death’- not a scare, just an interactive element
@@HauntedElsieKirina no but they are supposed to from what I hear, it supposed to be fixed this weekend according to people I've talked to. The QR code on the bottom shows the places it's supposed to work.
I always wanted to go here, but after seeing this video I'm quite disappointed. The costumes and make-up are totally lame. Looks like an amateur production.
You guys overdoing it in USA. There is no build up of atmosphere. Way too much "actors" , too much props , too much noise. After some time its more annoying as any scary. Therte is no soul in 85% of "scary" attractions in USA. Just too much of everything. Monotonious, loud and disruptive . The "actors" behave EVERYWHERE THE SAME. Its very predictible. They should also slow down and be freaky in mistic way - psycho clown ...not some running around people in costumes.
This is what sells well with American audiences. A quiet, psychological haunt would be a much harder sell here, would appeal to a smaller and more niche audience, and would be more difficult to execute with the number of variables that would have to be controlled behind the scenes to maintain the atmosphere. I’ve only heard of a few haunts or immersive theater experiences that go for that type of performance in the States, and very few of them last more than 1 or 2 seasons.
1:00:09 Definitely taking inspiration from slipknot, possibly my favourite band ever.
