For those less interested in the climbing aspect, at least one of the bike shops in Ojai will shuttle you in the opposite direction from Ojai and you can ride down the no car section and back up the Ojai Valley Trail. Works well with a mountain bike too.
Train tip for the LA area - Metrolink commuter trains are flat rate of 10 bucks on the weekend days. Unlimited use for the day. And walk-on bike service no extra charge.
Amazing ride. You guys are doing all the rides I've been mapping out for my CA winter tour. Do you guys have Strava or Ride with GPS accounts I can follow for routes?
What brand of fenders do you have on the Vayas? And what size tires are you using? I'm considering buying a Vaya for gravel rides, commuting, and the occasional tour.

Was that your brakes squealing? Great video, too. Loved the views.
Definitely disc brake squeal.
How wide are your bars? I've been wanting to run a basket up front but am slightly concerned about how my grifters will interact with it.
+Emory730 believe these are either 44 or 46.
Anyone know if this area burned up recently?
