Out of all the weapons that get a 200+m boost with either spitzer or high velo, i have no idea why they decided to only give 100 to the martini. The sparks is still faster with normal ammo lmao and even with high velo, it's still the slowest velocity of all long ammo rifles.
Probably due to the reload speed and clearer iron sights? I personally don't see it as enough of a reason to hamstring it, but that's the assumption I'd make for why they only give like 100 on HV
the previous 200ms hv buffs for other rifles got nerfed to half of that, so it's in line. But, yeah, with the damage and ammo pool nerfs to hv, the martini could as well have gotten Spitzer rounds instead of hv - it's now the only long ammo rifle with hv
least picked long ammo rifle, boosting MV by 200 would just take it to the same speed as normal long ammo so I'm guessing they did it for variety, idk, adding this ammo didn't make any sense to me and it's not explained anywhere but I'm trying to come up with something
@31:00 - yes, happens all the time to me and is extremely annoying. I'd say its a bug, but it seems to be caused by releasing ADS right as you're firing so it waits for the animation to completely return to hipfire before firing the shot.
Before 1896 i loved running the Martini Henry Riposte when low on funds. Now i love it even more with the HV bullets🎉 (even though the 100 meter buff isn't that much with the recoil and ammo pool nerf imo). I bought the Tooth & Claw and i absolutely love it
@@Ajattaro When starting fights, or arriving early at one, yeah it has influenced my performance and playstyle, as the damage nerf does betray me often. 130~ can be a brutal number to deal while third partying or arriving late though, and i think after peacekeeper and the cache goes away, it will be even more impactful. I've been running Martini Henry Riposte HV with Officer Brawler Dum Dum and it's a really oppressive and versatile loadout

Every gun in hunt has advantages and disadvantages and nothing is obsolete yet, even the borheim has a few very hidden advantages when you dual weild 🎉
@@verrat3219 I took the dual silent bornheims to the range with high velocity and found they have almost no spread. I was hitting fairly consistent headshots at 50-60 meters, I couldn't believe it.. In matches after I was getting tons of headshots up to 20 meters even on moving targets. if you pair it with the silent m1873c and high velocity you have a decent load out. I never use high velocity but it worked really well for me 🎉 & that's not even the bornheims biggest advantage.
Your comment at 31:40 about left click that doesnt register. I have the feeling that levering is sometimes very inconsistent. With shooting and lagshooting. I rarly saw it and only one time had it with fanning.
I feel like since the update, they need to do some major rework on quite a few guns. This is one of those examples. It is basically outclassed by the freaking Winny in every way but damage now.
The delayed click happens to me all the time ;-; It waits (literally however long) until you un-ADS to shoot. It's dumbbbbb gotten me and my slow reflexes killed so muchhhh

It's not that HV Martini Henry is bad, but I do think Neenoh would have hit more of his shots if he had regular ammo. It's just what he knows. I only play HV ammo on weapons I don't use regularly without it. If I start mixing them up it throws off my shots.
I think they should revert ammo pool and damage nerf for HV Velocity nerf is ok for compact and long ammo, but mediums like Pax and Vetterli need HV speeds back
Martini Henry with standard ammo has worse muzzle velocity and damage compared to sparks. by paying extra money for HV ammo we still get a little bit slower velocity and even less damage. Ammo pool with HV has been reduced and we get less ammo than sparks so what's the point? A little faster reload speed and that's it?
It seems you have the same curse of Martini-Henry as mine (shoot and flick like crazy to miss 90% of shots to then realize "oh wow, now I have 3 bullets left, that's interesting")
Why only 100 more velocity? It is already nerfed from the 120 meter bullet drop, why not just make it more competitive option to sparks and springfield?
