People are not understanding asur series concept ...series is trying to prove that in this kaliyuga everyone is bad when it to comes to save their life a person can kill anyone .....nikhil killed two people in season 1 with his ideas , nusrat killed innocent girl to save her sister , naina wants to let other person die to save her daughter life , dj killing people to catch subh , everyone agree to kill anant their god to save their life in the last episode of season 2
One thing I noticed in the entire series that whenever something was expected an unexpected thing was happened that's how the scripting has been done so far...now I feel that script writers have made an illusion and force the audience to think DJ is the Asur but they will definitely come up with an unexpected suspense either Nikhil as Asur or someone else.

Nice theory. Although I think DJ is a totally different party than either Asur or the good guys (CBI/ATF) and he might be playing a totally different game altogether.
If Dj and Vrinda are on the same side, then why Dj have to pretend he doesn’t know anything 🙄 Dj might be the Asur but no member of his team don't know about that.
I think Asur is not any man but the AI the one which will never die. Shubh with the help of Rasul transported the data to some other place which Shubh said that it has transfered the soul to a new body. DJ can not be Asur for following reasons: 1. He risked his life against shekhar bharadwaj. 2. if he had access to The AI than probably he wouldnt wasted time going Kashi again and again. Vrinda is a character without much reference showing that she is going to play a crucial role in next season but saying she is not blind is wrong as shubh has strong morals and he never dicieved the police. however we can not predict with accuracy about her.
The most amazing part about this series is that even though shubh as an Asura character looks very villain like and his actions are absolutely not at all justified but still all of his philosophical tellings make a lot of sense and are true in a lot of ways You cannot run away from truth no matter how disgusting and precarious it feels like

Nushrat will not stand against nikhil she proved this in the last episode,the mask theory is not that correct because till the death of sandhya's killer shubh's project was not started and after this death shubh didn't kill any of his teammember by his own so no chance of shubh leaving a mask after his team members death. Maybe koka and vikoka were rasool and kesar because after their death only dj caught shubh
Good concept, but i disagree about DJ being real Asur or Kali. There is no story or evidence that Kali will be huntdown his own associates. So in entire series DJ is busy about hunting down Asur who are part of creating anarchy. Next no asur is mentioned or known going for repentance at monestary. If he was Asur, he wouldnt be in guilt and the tree punching scene is where he punishes for his own mistakes. The other details where he mentions about few person getting killed, to save millions of people is logically correct. Even Krishna had adviced to Arjun that he should not be caring about people getting killed in war but looking at bigger picture that is win of good over evil. Well, the writers can twist and make DJ Asur, but it would be seen as illogical with above points. My gut feeling is that Vrinda has a son (the sculpture she is shown creating) and Shub's legacy is passed down to his son. Coz vrinda mentions that she is like what Gopi is to Krishna. Which means she is/was in love with Shubh. Now its exciting to see who is son of Shubh and with his various literature he must have left behind detailed scriptures to pass on to another generations. But i have a strong feeling something is connected to the little boy Anant.

Actually I want to add another point lets consider that DJ is the real asur, he can use anant to manupilate human behaviour, becuase anant is somewhat like shubh only because he has a very wide knowledge, in S2 of asur, when DJ revealled that the anant is not a magical boy, it was the plan of DJ to trap shubh, anant told that, if we lie for a good deed that is not considered as a lie, means anant has a very wide knowledge, and he can also be controlled by DJ, because DJ was there in the temple for so many days, there will be some kind of connection that is built between the anant and DJ. In one of the ep of ASUR S2 there was a debate between shubh and anant, anant was comepeting shubh in the field of knowledge. THAT IS WHAT I THINK.
The real asur would be son of shubh which is anant as he said in the last episode "kali anant hai" and this can be indication that anant is his and vrinda's son bcos he talks so maturly Just like shubh or vrinda could be pregnant bcos she was making sculpture of mother with a baby in her hand
Anant being his son should be the last thing i need to read about this series Anant is for me the best counterpart of Asura and he has that power to atleast neutralize if not defeat Asura in his own philosophy I really felt disheartened when I saw that in the last episode they made debate between them so short,it would have been the best possible way to defeat Asura by diluting him in his own logic or philosophy And than making him seem a little bit delusional and in reaction to that he would have than proposed the threat of killing thousands of believers and non believers out of madness
People forget the main story of asur is the ideology. A man will die, but not his ideology. Shubh joshi died at end of season 2, but we saw that his childhood friend (that blind girl) had drawn a few asur images after demise of shubh. I think this will go more like a religious way without making it supernatural. She didn't have any monstrous drawings until shubh died, meaning that kali might have used shubh as host and when he died kali immediately shifted to the girl. Season 3 will have a little more religious context about kali and kalki but it would still focus on the ideologies i guess. But I understand your theory too had only season 1 been aired cause I thought the same until season 2 started

There are numerous theories budding on this series which proves Asur is the best web series of India! It's just not many people can align their thinking with that of the plot, the director or Kali! I found few quite relevant theories like Vrinda might be the next Asur or she'll be pregnant with Shubh's son who'll be the next Kali as she was seen making that statue of woman with her child... which are quite convincing but one is very haunting for me that comes from Shubh's saying " Kali kabhi mar nahi Sakta... i have a feeling that anant is actually the son of shubh and vrinda. That is the reason anant is as clever as shubh was during his childhood. No this is not the right theory. Shubh was always the main asur. As he was framed by DJ. He wanted to con DJ and make him feel helpless. Moreover DJ didn't use a headphone cover( which Shubh used). In the penultimate scene super sonic bomb. What I believe is that DJ is involved but he got played by Shubh... Shubh would have got rid of DJs wife and in return, he was compromised.... or something... I feel and believe, Nikhil has a potential of being the real asur
I don't think they will go this route. They really want to go parallel with the Mythology. and in it Kali keeps changing bodies and waiting for Kalki. At the end Kaliyuga will come to an end. So there also needs to be a person who actually believes he can defeat Kali (Kalki). This is like Moriarty vs Sherlock. but Sherlock has yet to enter the picture. while Moriarty is playing a very very long game.

One thing I noticed in the entire series that whenever something was expected an unexpected thing was happened that's how the scripting has been done so far...now I feel that script writers have made an illusion and force the audience to think DJ is the Asur but they will definitely come up with an unexpected suspense either Nikhil as Asur or someone else.

I think Asur is not any man but the AI the one which will never die. Shubh with the help of Rasul transported the data to some other place which Shubh said that it has transfered the soul to a new body.
DJ can not be Asur for following reasons:
1. He risked his life against shekhar bharadwaj.
2. if he had access to The AI than probably he wouldnt wasted time going Kashi again and again.
Vrinda is a character without much reference showing that she is going to play a crucial role in next season but saying she is not blind is wrong as shubh has strong morals and he never dicieved the police. however we can not predict with accuracy about her.
The most amazing part about this series is that even though shubh as an Asura character looks very villain like and his actions are absolutely not at all justified but still all of his philosophical tellings make a lot of sense and are true in a lot of ways

Good concept, but i disagree about DJ being real Asur or Kali. There is no story or evidence that Kali will be huntdown his own associates. So in entire series DJ is busy about hunting down Asur who are part of creating anarchy. Next no asur is mentioned or known going for repentance at monestary. If he was Asur, he wouldnt be in guilt and the tree punching scene is where he punishes for his own mistakes.
The other details where he mentions about few person getting killed, to save millions of people is logically correct. Even Krishna had adviced to Arjun that he should not be caring about people getting killed in war but looking at bigger picture that is win of good over evil.
Well, the writers can twist and make DJ Asur, but it would be seen as illogical with above points.
My gut feeling is that Vrinda has a son (the sculpture she is shown creating) and Shub's legacy is passed down to his son. Coz vrinda mentions that she is like what Gopi is to Krishna. Which means she is/was in love with Shubh.
Now its exciting to see who is son of Shubh and with his various literature he must have left behind detailed scriptures to pass on to another generations. But i have a strong feeling something is connected to the little boy Anant.

lets consider that DJ is the real asur, he can use anant to manupilate human behaviour, becuase anant is somewhat like shubh only because he has a very wide knowledge, in S2 of asur, when DJ revealled that the anant is not a magical boy, it was the plan of DJ to trap shubh, anant told that, if we lie for a good deed that is not considered as a lie, means anant has a very wide knowledge, and he can also be controlled by DJ, because DJ was there in the temple for so many days, there will be some kind of connection that is built between the anant and DJ. In one of the ep of ASUR S2 there was a debate between shubh and anant, anant was comepeting shubh in the field of knowledge.

Anant is for me the best counterpart of Asura and he has that power to atleast neutralize if not defeat Asura in his own philosophy

People forget the main story of asur is the ideology. A man will die, but not his ideology. Shubh joshi died at end of season 2, but we saw that his childhood friend (that blind girl) had drawn a few asur images after demise of shubh. I think this will go more like a religious way without making it supernatural. She didn't have any monstrous drawings until shubh died, meaning that kali might have used shubh as host and when he died kali immediately shifted to the girl. Season 3 will have a little more religious context about kali and kalki but it would still focus on the ideologies i guess.

There are numerous theories budding on this series which proves Asur is the best web series of India! It's just not many people can align their thinking with that of the plot, the director or Kali! I found few quite relevant theories like Vrinda might be the next Asur or she'll be pregnant with Shubh's son who'll be the next Kali as she was seen making that statue of woman with her child... which are quite convincing but one is very haunting for me that comes from Shubh's saying " Kali kabhi mar nahi Sakta...
