@6:40 as someone who spent a couple years racing here as my home circuit IRL, the move you just did 1: gives me anxiety, because everyone know how sketchy as hell that turn is (it's deceptively complex to get right IRL and it can and will make or break your lap time next lap) and it's a bit of an unwritten rule itself that unless it's absolutely unavoidable you never go 2 wide onto that apex, because with the speed you can carry through that turn will force your car to the outside on the straight and if you've got two cars going to the outside into the straight bad things can happen. 2: cause it took me a little while to understand rule one and as a result had quite a few fellow racers have some choice words with me in pit lane. so all in all if you're on that track IRL and coming down hill with the front of your car at their rear quarter panel, the best thing you can go is back off the throttle just a tad and follow them through, especially when that person is on the outside and you're on the inside, because he's actually racing the proper line, and you have to dive into that turn when the bottom of the hill compresses your suspension. that turn has a very narrow window and having you on the inside like that just makes it all the more narrow.
The Miata is still somewhat acceptable though if you aren't using race tires in C or D class, the one car that is totally unacceptable in A, S, or even R class is the Porsche GT1. That is the official "I let the car do the driving for me cuz I'm slow without it" car.

Ive played all the Forza's from the very first one on the OG Xbox and they still cant figure out how to balance the cars. They have all had leaderboard cars and just don't seem to care.
Lol ik I hear ya. If there's an upgrade that you're struggling to fit in the car and stay within PI restrictions, you can fit heavier/larger rims to bring the cars PI down to regulation.
@@OldTires there has been multiplayer for a while. I never found someone to play it with but its rly fun even solo. You can also bring your own cars from automation or any mod you can find.
Do the car I have 3 top 10 rivals with at S class, the porsche gt1 strassenversion, its not the fastest in top speed but it is dangerously effective on any map with alot of turns.

You'll probably have to really work with the suspension, on a whim I upgraded one to B class and it literally lept off the road, all four wheels, at Laguna Seca Short turn 1 when coming down the hill.

Some cars are absolutely broken in certain classes though. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how good you drive the car is just too good for the class, and it discourages you from driving anything else because you know you want stand a chance at all.
lol people have a problem with people wanting to compete with the top 5 guys? The tops guys are always in these OP cars so if you want to be competitive you have to use them. Stop being mad that others play differently to you 🙄
You sill was much faster by the lap time than all of them, so yeah it's op and being op isn't bad. I haven't seen anyone cry irl about irl racing when someone takes their miata or any other well crafted car to race.
miata is op in real life. did a canyon run with my neighbor in his mustang gt500 and me in my 01 nb miata, he left me on the straights but he couldn't keep up in the twisties
If you use the miata AND also download a leaderboard tune then it's shameful and pathetic. At least build it yourself. It's like riding the coat tails of someone elses effort.
Imagine being a new forza player who just wants to use their miata in C class and just keeps getting shunted and can’t figure out why

I've never heard of unspoken rules in racing games. If it's good, then use it. Got a problem with it, then get good scrub.
