@@NoFate247 Thanks! Ordered this stand. I'm still a bit on the fence as it looks like a cheap stand aesthetically in comparison to the other two stands that they have in their line.
@@NoFate247 yes your review deterred me. It's less expensive. It may look like a simple stand but you made good points overall. Also the reviews I found for the other stands didn't have good reviews. So thanks again!
Great review - I was hesitating because, like you, I wasn't sure if they were up to the 90's. Regrettably, as I post this COVID is still in full swing, so keep those reviews coming - it looks like we'll be home-gymming for awhile yet...
@@NoFate247 Totally agree. So I actually just ordered them yesterday (got the Pro 90s) after checking the inventory page every day for about two months. The stands are unfortunately out of stock but I am ordering this one once they become available.
Reviews say the pedestal style Column Stand also has a lot of wobble, nevermind that it’s more expensive. I finally got my order in for the Pros, I’m deciding between this stand and the $179 Home Rack stand. I honestly might wind up getting whatever is in stock first with how hard it is to get an order in right now.
Yeah orders are tough...after almost a year I am glad I went with the cheap stand for space savings and bring able to put my foot in to get the weights out
Hi I was just wondering if you have any problems with the long-term storage of the dumbbells on this stand. I thought it was just a stand for when you are working out and just fold it back when not in use. Thank you!
i think the point of the black rubber caps on the end of the 2.5 weights is for storing in the stand, so its not metal on metal. i think you might be storing them upside down in this video..... or am i understanding them incorrectly?
@@NoFate247 the 2.5lb round chrome weights for the power blocks. they have a little rubber bumper on the end. you can see them in your thumbnail. i believe they are there for storage, i think you are supposed to store the end with the rubber bumper down to prevent metal on metal on the stand. i could be wrong though!
Good morning. Checking in. My gym equipment consists of some vinyl dumbbells I use for walking or indoors. Resistance bands. Exercise mat. That's it. What can I say, I'm a wimp. Type with you later tonight. Have a good day.
@@NoFate247 I have the powerblock sport with stage 3. I love the dumbbells. I'm switching to doing more dumb bell exercises and cutting back from barbell

Absolutely the reviews are coming but very sad that you are right covid isn't going anywhere
Checking innnnnn
Hey!!! Thanks for watching and checking in!!! How you doing
Great review! The last part “when you’re seeing this video I hope the Rona virus is gone” 😩😩😩 here in Los Angeles we’re still not back to normal.
Not here either in Massachusetts. More strict now than the past 6 months
Really good review. Agreed on the space below and being able to step right up to it. Thank you!
Something you don't think about before you buy it but should, every square inch matters in a home gym. Do you like your power blocks

Smart move!!! Yea that's the trick keep checking and then shoot your shot when it opens up
Thanks for the video. I was debating their more expensive stand online that cost like $220 or so, but I feel this will be sufficient.
Mine is still doing the job great
@@NoFate247 I will be using your affiliate link once I get the dumbbells this weekend
Nice!! Thank you very much

Would these be good if I live in an apartment and live the second floor, would I need a floor mat too?
Might help but if you don't drop them I think you would be fine
How wide are the slots? I just picked up a pair of “nuobells” and the measurements are about 19.25” x 9”
90lbs each

Great question! Over 18 months in, left it open with 90 lbs on each side and no issue,no signs of excessive wear
Is the stand stable if you remove one dumbbell and leave the other on the stand?
Hundred percent

Not quite sure what you are referring to, can you be a bit more specific I think I am missing something

@@mike3271 mine don't have that I just kind of throw them in the stand
The foot print is supposedly 18"x20". Is it 20" long front-to-back or side to side?
20 is front to back. I'd probably carve out a spot that's 20 by 20 if you can, you want some extra space around it.

You're not a wimp. You don't need to go over the top to have something that works for you!
@@NoFate247 Thanks. You always know what to say. You're such a gentleman.
interesting how the cheaper one is better, i'd never would have guessed
No man, it's far from gone. I'm just afraid of the stand kipping over when I pick up the weights, I don't want to break my toes.
Been using mine 6x a week, hasn't fallen over yet and my db go up to 90
Goodness now this stand costs more than the pedestal stand.
Ugh!!! Sorry, prices are nuts
I lift at home and do interval training at the gym
Great!!! What do you have in your home gym

Isn’t that stand rated for only 100lbs or 2 50s dumbbells?
Well MY stand has 200 lbs on it (180 to be exact) and is fine or has been for the last year....
