It's been a while since I malded this hard... This is my first time posting a run with switching sides. My apologies if this wasn't what you were looking for. *Things to Note:* 1. Do N2C with Hu Tao for the Floor 12 debuff to deal more damage. And because of this, Yun Jin works extremely well in this Abyss - even with my poorly invested Yun Jin. 2. Second half wants you to run Freeze but the Maguu Kenki at the end is a problem. Ganyu just couldn't deal enough damage in 2 minutes so I had to switch sides. It was a pain to reset and get back to Chamber 3 with Ganyu in first half but its worth it. 3. Ayaka would fair better than Ganyu in second half. You won't need to switch sides if you use her instead. 4. Replace Chongyun with Rosaria/Kaeya/Diona. He was a mistake. Honestly, I think your ganyu team could’ve dealt with the kenki if you had swapped Chong for diona and Jean for ttds sucrose (kazuha would be better but she’s the other option here)- cos she has enough damage to do it, just that it’s a pain to do so. Having said that I cleared this time a bit differently, I did a melt vape hutao team on the second half (hutao xinqui diona ganyu) and hyper raiden in the first half since I didn’t want to swap teams.
Yes. While Yun Jin *DOES* only buff Normal Attacks, doing N2C with Hu Tao means she'll be doing 14-18 Charged Attacks per rotation which Yun Jin does buff. That's her contribution to the team's damage aside from Geo Resonance. Since Floor 12 debuffs with Normal Attacks and Hu Tao will do N2Cs anyways, this Abyss is quite compatible for this comp. The reason I changed sides is because Ganyu can't beat Maguu Kenki in time no matter how I play. The Ganyu 2nd half runs I've seen on UA-cam mostly used Amos Bow instead of Crescent like me

I heard melt ganyu does good dmg but it doesn't work for me as well (I used ganyu/xiangling/zhongli/bennett). Then I just swapped to xiao and he destroyed everything with ease
I farmed Blizzard domain for nearly 3 months while Crimson for 5 whole months for them actually. I did 1 resin refresh a day at the time which helped (I'm not a whale though just welkin)
If by viable you mean it works well enough then yes! Outside of the buff, YJ in the vid will do the same as a 4pc Instructor Ningguang/Geo Traveler with Zhongli. To really make full use of her (besides cons), you'd have to invest in talent lvl + 4pc Husk. You can sub in Noelle for Zhongli but then you'd have to build her with DEF artifacts. Ningguang/Geo Traveler and also work but then you're gonna have no shield + uptime on Geo Resonance depends on you picking up crystallize shields For Jean, you can substitute Sucrose but then you also have to substitute Chongyun for Diona

Yes it's worth it to max ascend and crown her talents but it isn't required. It just helps but its an expensive investment. Sorry but it's kind of hard to help someone in a comment section of a UA-cam video. I suggest asking advice on Discord/Reddit instead.
If you want to clear spiral abyss with hu tao, it is definitely worth it as she is dealing the majority of the dps in regular hu tao teams. If only have 4 star weapons and good artifacts to get 36 stars, I think it is required unless got 5 star weapons or/and godlike artifacts. But this is only one team so another meta team with good/hyper investments?

Yeah they should nerf the 3 phases where he’s not taking shield damage (when he transforms, when he spawns a seed and when he has 25% hp). Takes too long compared to its hydro and electro brothers
The dps check on this floor is so high...and the first floor shield takes 40 sec to break (and with hydro too). 34 stars for me and not trying anymore. (2/2/3 because none of my chars can shield break).
Apart from the DPS check getting higher, I noticed that having the right chars is also being checked. It might not be your Abyss now but you'll be back to 36 starring Abyss soon.

You can also try Melt Ganyu on the 2nd half and run a flex hydro slot for 12-1. Something like Ganyu XL Bennett Mona or Ganyu Kazuha Bennett Mona.
@@alexygo4243 Just finished a run with Melt Ganyu in first half. Xingqiu is really all you need for Pyro Lector. Clears it faster than Mona/Barbara.

Yes. I recommend Rosaria more since Ganyu is ranged. You need to stick close with Kaeya

You can but not recommended since Anemo traveler needs to be close to enemy to apply swirl and there's not much AoE

The dps check on this floor is so high...and the first floor shield takes 40 sec to break (and with hydro too). 34 stars for me and not trying anymore. (2/2/3 because none of my chars can shield break).
Apart from the DPS check getting higher, I noticed that having the right chars is also being checked. It might not be your Abyss now but you'll be back to 36 starring Abyss soon.
